Small world. Went out for Halloween last night with a couple we’ve known for a while but don’t hang out with very often. Was talking with the wife and hunting came up. I mentioned where I hunt and she looked at me funny. Her family owns the 40 acres across the street. I knew I wasn’t going to get permission to hunt it but did get permission to recover my deer if it goes onto their land. Which is huge because I’m not far from the road.

That's great. Yeah every year before the season I drop in to talk to the neighbors to make sure can recover if needed. I always take veggies and jelly's we make and can.

While we are waiting on update I have a question. How often should I wax my strings? This summer when shooting a lot I waxed after every time I shot. Now that not shooting everyday wasn't sure. Can you over wax them? This is my 1st bow so still new to it and learning as I go. Really don't know anyone who bow hunts

If it starts to look dry and whitish wax it. You can rub the string with paper between your fingers after waxed and the heat generated will push wax into string well
