    five Thunder chickens and two Doe's on the opposite side of the food plot from me almost all evening! At least there are no bears tonight! Little nervous walking out however

    Have never seen a bear near our place in Westfield. My parents say they ah e seen 1 in 30 years of being there. Would love to watch one walk around all natural

    The biggest oh s*** moment I ever had was my 1st tour in Iraq. We were outside Baghdad on a 4 man observation post. A US compound was getting attached a lot at night and we were trying to intersect them. Well when the war kicked off in 03, all the bomb runs hit a zoo in Baghdad. We had a lion running around getting closer and closer to us. All we had was m4's. You never seen 4 dudes run so fast back to the compound

    Only bear I’ve ever seen. Was on a bear hunt in Canada. Sat the first 4 night with the bow but it was 95* every day and they weren’t moving. Got desperate the 5 night and brought the 30-06. Ended up having her walk in at 17 yards in the first 20 minutes in the stand.

    Not going out tonight. Going to take the kiddos to the zoo to trick or treat. Suppose to storm all day tomorrow but bring 1st 30s of the year Sat and Sun with highs in mid 40s. Hoping to log a lot of hours between the 2 days.

    Well guys, scorecard was updated & we are gaining speed towards that top spot! Best part of season is yet to come by me!

    If course i couldnt sit last night & a different 10 comes in at 5:56pm...perfevt quartering away shot from my stand....smh figures! Lol[​IMG]

    For trespassing concerns I took a camera down on one of my properties back in August. I put it back out on the 15th and grabbed the card last night when we got to that side of the field combining. 200 pictures - 145 of them daylight pictures, 6 different bucks, 2 shooters and good daylight doe movement. None of these bucks were familiar from June-August when I had my camera out. I need time off ASAP as it should only get better!
