Sounds about right. I haven't pulled card since went hunting last Sunday. Knowing my luck that big 10 will have been living under my stand, lol Roll Tide Roll
We're going hardcore in corn right now so I hope we're done within 7-10 days. I checked two cameras this weekend and am starting to have a lot of daylight action.
Well my wife is doing better and moving around good. The boys are starting to feel better also. I think I'm on my wife's last nerve. We have a 2 good cold front coming in over next 2 days. She told me I should go out hunting. I'm back at work today. It's raining so have to wait to finish picking crops. Hopefully I can get in woods soon Roll Tide Roll
Well, I checked in my buck on the scorecard. He came in last night with 45 min of light left. It had just stopped raining and i knew something would hit the scrape by my stand after the rain with the rising pressure and temperature drop. He worked that scrape like a mad man. He then came to about 10 yards and spooked when i drew back. He ran to about 27 and i shot him. I have been chasing this buck for 4 years(had him at 12 yards 2 years ago but didnt shoot due to brush in the way) and he is 7 1/2 years old. He used to be closer to 170 but has declined the last 2 years. He scored 151 5/8 gross.
Grats Ranbo & Andrew! Nice bucks! I saw lots of critters (bobcats & yotes) Thursday-Sunday, plenty of deer, several bucks (plenty of wandering bucks), one 120" @ 5 yards, but none I had to shoot. Patience, grasshopper... Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Heck of a buck man, decline or not he's a STUD! And to have that type of history with him makes it all that much sweeter! Nice work man!!!!
Well...they are getting bigger! Lol. Good action agaim this evening...spotted 4 does & 7 small bucks total in the plot. This guy here followed the does around & then started thrashing a tree & freshened a few scrapes near by. Pretty neat to watch! Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk
