Best part is my partner will be able to hunt too so 2 prime spots will potentially be covered! Hopefully will be putting some rage in the cage!

Sounds good. Hopefully y'all can stick one or two. I decided to go with rage too. Got the +p. Bought some nap double cross too, but think going to try rage 1st

I like the rage. Been shooting the originals simce they came out. Tried the hypodermics & hated em. Trying the crossbow extremes this year....i figure if i hit a deer right with it, i shouldnt have to field dress it! Lol

I have heard good things about them. Time will tell. I know everyone has their own opinions. I shot muzzy fix blades last year. Only got 1 hit but hit high. Only found a few drops of blood, but did see her later in season. So made me feel better

I hate wounding them but like my Dad always says, thats why it called hunting, not shooting.

At the end of the day, could use a field tip as long as it hits the right spot!

I'm a little upset that I can't hunt my most hopeful spot tomorrow with these cooler temps. They came from the north and that's how the wind is still blowing and it needs a direct south wind. Have another spot I really like and will be trying.

Well snuck out of work early today for an afternoon sit. One doe scared the crap out of me when she spran2v up from a bed opposite side of a dead fall. Once im the stand there was an extremely loud grouse and four deer coming for a slurp of water. Was an excotong sit! 1 nubbin, 1 doe, a fork & a really weird 7 pointer...i think...they all got a pass....for now....

That's awesome. I would love to watch that and would like to see some bucks tie up. I really want to hunt in the snow. Last 2 years no luck with snow

Hey team, sorry I haven't been on much lately, been dealing with some family stuff as my grandmother is not doing too well. Took a trip to New Orleans last weekend to only have to land and take the next flight home with her being rushed to the hospital. We almost lost her, but she pulled through. Still not in the clear yet and unfortunately things will most likely continue to progress. This last year having to deal with this has been very hard on me and my family. She is my world and I can not even begin to think of life without her, just trying to stay as strong as I can. Much needed tree therapy is needed to just sit out a buck and get to be alone with my thoughts and clear my head. Will be out for the opener on Sunday in hopes to do just that.

Will be changing my game plan some this year as I usually take a doe as quickly as possible, but this year I will be waiting on a buck before shooting any does. I do not want to shake up the woods in which I hunt with a early doe kill like I believe I have always done in the past. Have some good doe spots also, so may possibly try to hit one of those up also, but not my priority early in the season this year. This could all change as the season progresses, but will see how the season pans out. I hope you all have success out there and enjoy every minute of it. Stay safe and shoot straight my friends! Best of luck!
