Problem with this location is any wind/breeze swirls. My other concern is too much activity by me & the other half checking the card & throwing a climber out there. Maybe im over thinking this? Season starts here on Saturday. 70° and rain. I have a wedding that afternoon anyways so I will not be out Saturday for sure. We'll have to see what Sunday brings. Investing in a thermacell Saturday too. Mosquitoes haven't been this bad in a long time. Probably going to check cards Saturday morning and let the rain wash my scent away. Be nice to see what has been moving in the last couple weeks before I choose which stands to hunt.

Well I had a he'll of a scare yesterday evening. I went over to a farm I lease. Had posted signs everywhere and new locks on gate. The guy I leased from sold it. Talked to new owner and all is good. He's a 'nam vet so ended up talking to him for 3 hours trading army stories. Not sure how will play out next year but he put in writing that I'm good for this year. I wish I would have got a shot to buy though. It's a funny shaped property but had good luck past 2 years. Roll Tide Roll
If I do hunt this weekend I will probably goose hunt anyways Dang that'd be quite the surprise driving up to that! Hopefully it all works out for you long term.
