Hey guys! Let's get everyone checked in and an introduction of yourselves! Team 20- BradleyPrejean87 greatwhitehunter3 grommel Josh Reed Junior JWD kennyg nsuthoff okie_flinger pastorandrew Ranbo TheHardWoods913
Hey guys. I'm Josh and live in southern Indiana. I'm pumped for season. It's my 2nd year bow hunting. Last year I used and old 80's model bear bow to ensure it was something I wanted to get into. I didn't stick anything during bow season but fell in love with it. I bought a new bear wild bow last month and ready to go. I have a few nice bucks on cam so hopefully I can help out our team and stick my 1st with a bow
Forward apology for you guys having my good friend Andrew (PastorAndrew) on your team. He will tease and poke you with all the bucks he has on cam and is seeing everyday of the season, even share trophy photos (but they're of his wife's bucks!)...but alas never drop one himself with his bow. Great teammate though and moral booster! LOL! (I most definitely will get a text later!) He does have a BIG 9 on cam fellas I hope he drops for him and you all!
Hey don't be messing with my buddies. I'll have to call an old army buddy in the swamps of Louisiana with a crazy wife who thinks she's a voodoo witch, lol
Hello fellas. Glenn Rommel here from Long Island, New York. Cant wait for the opener come October 1st!!
Here's a few I got on camera last month. Hopefully they will hang around. Going to check cam again this weekend
And with that, my name is Andrew. I spend a lot of time in a tree come October / November. It's true my wife has a buck bigger than me. But I hope to change that come fall. To my creidt I let her shoot it, was on stand with her. she didn't even know it was a buck i had been hunting for several seasons, figured it was hers for the taking cause it never walked in front of me in daylight till that day! Big nine I have been after for what will be the third season this fall. two years in a row I had him coming straight to me only to make a turn and walk away! maybe 2017 is my year! I am from Michigan home of the greatest college football team on earth! GO BLUE! Can't wait for season, and to get to meet all you guys! here is some pics of deer from wife and kids! The family that hunts together, stays together AMEN! and of course big 9, he has been a big 9 roughly the same size last two years, this year her is a clean 10
Good deal pastor. Nice to meet you. This is really my 3rd season hunting. I hunted some in high school but never enjoyed it, I use to live on the lake. I have really enjoyed last few years. I now live in Indiana but grew up in Alabama. Roll Tide by the way! I have only killed 6 deer, 2 does in high school, 2 does year before last, and a doe and the 9 point in my avatar. Got him opening day of gun season out of a blind with my son in the picture. My daughter also shot here 1st last year, a doe. I agree it's fun to hunt with family. Really anytime outdoors with them
Welcome guys! My name is Travis and I'm 27 from MN. I do agriculture research for the U of M and farm so my busy time is fall. I still get to hunt a fair amount since my hunting ground, farming ground and work are all within 3 miles of my home. I just had a little guy in June (first one) so that might affect my time some as well. I will have to say that I am pretty pumped for this year though! This is the best trail camera year that I have had since I started bow hunting my sophomore year in high school. Lots of bucks that I would shoot given the chance. Just a heads up; MN is a one deer state (at least my zone) so I hold off about as late as possible if needed and for that reason sometimes don't enter a deer into the contest. Hoping that changes this year!
Nice to meet ya Travis. No worries here man, family is always 1st. Congrats on your baby, I also got a new little one June 15th so I understand. As far as deer to each his own, do what makes you happy. This is just for fun. I'm new to bow hunting so I might not add much. I only shot at 1 with bow last year and hit high (rookie mistake and used wrong pin along with nerves of 1st).
nice to meet you both! Travis we grow and sell vegetables here. bout 4 acres total. Over 100 varieties. grew up farming, can chat about it a bow hunting for hours! lol
That's a lot of varieties! What's your favorite variety of bell pepper? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Hello all! I'm Nolan S. From Central Missouri. I'm 16 and have been hunting since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Started bowhunting 3 years ago. Killed a small 7 pointer last year with my bow but am holding out for at least 115 inches this year. I'm running a Hoyt Nitrum 34 with Carbon Express Mutiny arrows tipped with 100 grain NAP Killzones. Just hung 1 stand tnight and have another to hang tomorrow night. After that I'll have 9 on about 400 acres. Also have around 900 acres to hunt down south Missouri. Should be able to get a doe and hopefully a buck also. This deer has been showing up in the holler below my house a few mornings now so hopefully he's still around come season. Also have a few other bucks to go after. Haven't had much luck with my cams this year. Have hung them in the same spot 3 times now and every 2 weeks I come back and they didn't take a single picture or they take one then shutoff. Oh well.
