I just checked and we are giving everyone till the 2nd to get checked-in. I just looked again and one of them has been on line a few times since the teams were announced. The others haven't been on for a few days and about a month. Let's just hope they all show up.

I am ok with picking from the ones we have or getting another one created. It is up to all of you.

I am going to head out in the morning and check 5 cameras on my local property. Only thing I am really hoping to find a buck we call Slick9. We got hiim on film a few weeks ago and he really was putting on some size. Just trying to figure out where he is traveling around the farm now! Any other deer will be a bonus!

Thanks Widow. Biggest problem I am going to have with him is that a few of the other guys on the farm are also after him since he clearly appears to be the best buck we have. To be honest I realy hope that I can take a nice buck at my JoDavies lease and no one takes the Slick9 this year. Another year of growth and genes being passed on would be awesome!

Well we have finally gotten rain here for the first time in about 3 weeks. About time! I was planning on going to check cameras tomorrow morning but depending if we get anymore rain tonight I might wait till Saturday to go.

Alright group what is the plan with the avatar? Create a few more to choose from or go with one that we have? Groups decision!

What does ya'lls opening day weather report look like? Accuweather.com says that September 14-15 it will be a half moon with 79-80 degrees with ESE prevailing winds (typical Georgia bowhunting weather) and a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. But, you know what that tells me....Public land push over hunters will be at home in front of the television while I'm in my camo poncho and ground blind shankin' a buck :woot: and when it ain't raining I can go back to my private lease and get back on the hunt for my target bucks.

Would love to see pictures! I have a family house in Kenosha Co not all that far from you. Thinking I might hunt some public land in Wisconsin this season if I can find anywhere good. Would be nice to get a 2 week jump on the IL season!
