Good Luck Team, It should start picking up here in the next week or so. Halloween is always a good day and it seems like the week or so around that day we always see things starting to happen. We will be hunting close to home this weekend chasing a deer we call Crash. The "Grafster" has him on his trail cams as well. Hoping the stars align and maybe steal him from Todd like he stole Hubble from me! haha. All kidding aside it feels great to say the rut is on it's way!

Good luck to everyone this weekend! I was up and getting ready to go this morning but got dizzy and light headed so decided it probably wasn't a good idea. Not sure what happened but feeling much better now. I am busy with my daughters all weekend but will be out Monday morning!

Yesterday evening the same 2 does and forkie came back but i didnt have shot at the Does, just out of range! Did get some wild footage of a sapling getting worked over for a few minutes, i couldnt see him but the tree looked like something in jurassic park when the dinos walked through the woods stomping trees! He got done and steped out where i could see him. Then he chased the Does til last light. Im in this morn with high hopes, waiting on daylight! Capt Ferg you get everything ironed out? Still hunting?

Just want to remind everyone with the rut kicking off all over to please remember... shoot what YOU want to shoot! Keep it fun and absolutely do not stress yourself for the sake of the contest. If it makes you excited, then by all means let er fly!!!! There is not 1 single person on this team and probably on the whole site that would judge anyone over what they decided to shoot. Bowhunt or Die dudes!!!! Lets have some fun

Well today was a bust for me! First day of nodda! Going to a new area in the morning, wasnt going to change so i left my camera arm on the tree, changed my mind when i got home when i seen they had started picking the corn! I have extra camera arms so off to new spot it will be. Ill be pretty deep in on one end of a bedding area!

I didn't make it out today and seems like forever since I have been out now. Guess it has been over a week now. I plan to get back out Wednesday morning. Was hoping to get out this morning but a few to many beers last night while watching the football game made for a rough morning! Hopefully things on my farm will start picking up with this cold weather now!

Only seen one Doe this morning! She pulled a reversal coming from bedding toward the food (corn) 1/4 mile away. I have hunted that spot many many times, killed tons of Deer there even 1 slammer and have never seen any deer do this in that spot. Here is a Buck from camera pull this morn in one of my Mock scrapes. Not going to shoot him but what ya guess ? maby around 110" or so? [IMG]
