Thanks man, looks like we all just gotta find the time to get on stand!

I'm an assistant store manager for wal-mart, and we're going through inventory right now. I'll be lucky to get 1 maybe 2 days off in the next 2 weeks, and then at the end of the month i go to 3rd shift where I'll leave for work at 6:15pm, and get home at 10:15am... Not gonna be much hunting going on with those hours, lol

Worked in the electronics dept. at Wal-Mart in college. Those are some serious hours. I work weekends. Two 12 hr shifts. So I can't complain about not having time to hunt. If I get this promotion that will all change, of course.

I shoot more yet this year, just was to hot to come home and get more pics. She was took to the butcher and skinned and in freezer by 9 am shot here at 7 am.I skinned her myself, i know the butcher so i help him out when i can.

Ha! No worries. No matter what I still have my job. Unless Wal-Mart's wage scale went up ALOT I think better keep my occupation.

Great job on the doe. Not sure if it will count or not. If not you got another excuse to get another one!

Congrats on the doe !!! They stick to the 2 picture rule so it probably won't count. No biggie... Like mark said, it gives you an excuse to get another one.

I'll be hunting this afternoon and hopefully get two hunts in tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what I see or if I get something.

Had a small doe hanging around most of the night. Could have shot her numerous times but was fun just watching her. Saw a few does walking around in the corn field.

Heading in deep to a spot in the morning. Hoping to find something a little bigger. Should be a good spot as the waterfoul hunters should have pressured the deer into this area by now. I know an older 4x4 and a some what decent 5x5 hang in this area. Should at least see some does.

The wind didn't pan out as they predicted. I had to scrap this morning hunt. Wind was blowing right into the major bedding area. I don't want to wreck this area. N/NE isn't a great wind for me in my other areas for morning hunts for that matter.

The wind will be very good for another area this afternoon though. This buck frequents that area...

He is the biggest buck I've seen scouting or got on trail cameras this year. Been a very poor year for both. If he comes by he is getting an arrow. I am out of venison and need to get some in the freezer !! I didn't see many does earlier in this area... hopefully that has changed.

Whats up guys! Just checking in. The Alabama opener is this saturday......finally. Kinda not sure what to do. There is no crops here where I hunt, just big woods. And there is acorns everywhere. More than I have ever seen. I walked a big ridge this past saturday, and stepped on acorns every step for like 400 yards. Not sure where to hunt when the food is everywhere. Any suggestions? Anyway, hopefully I can put one on the ground soon.

huntalot way to go on the doe!

Finally gonna get out tomorrow. I've been way to busy this work stuff sucks when you don't make your own hours.

Vectrix find their bedding areas, find trails leading to those food sources and set up in between the two. Use your instincts and play the wind.

The temps for next week look a lot better. I plan to start getting in a couple of good hunts next week. Things will begin to heat up in the deer woods pretty quickly. Went out last night with zero sightings. Hopefully next week brings something better around. Good luck guys.
