Sorry but I thought I checked in already. I remember typing the post but I'm not sure it went through. I also see my name is not listed on the first post. Have I been kicked off the team? :)

I found these last weekend in the first 15 minutes of my 1st time out. They were 6' apart from one another.

That is a sweet looking buck Finch. You thinking he is a really old fella or younger buck?

I checked cameras a couple days ago and like 90% of my bucks are still holding. I wont be finding any new horn around here for a little while.

Thanks. I believe it is a younger buck. Great genetics on this land.

Well my predator hunt this morning turned into a shed hunt. Found the first one in amongst some cow bones in a washout, the larger side I found on my walk home on the south side of a blow down.

Here is the biggest shed I have found so far this season. I already counted it earlier in the thread, so you dont need to change the number jeff. I only have this side of him, I am guessing this buck would be in the 140s on hoof. He is really thick, not real long.

I'm glad to see horns are falling in most places, team 5 is in the lead with 50, they are having a great year! We started slow but are up to 15 now. I've got a few shed hunts coming up Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I'm going to be walking some awesome private ground with what I consider the best deer hunter/shed hunter I know. The potential to find a 100" horn is there for sure. Here's a couple pics from his garage and trophy room. To say I'm excited is an understatement. Last year I found 8 with him in a short afternoon.

Here's me with a buck taken off one of his pieces of ground we'll hopefully be hunting. Killed October 31 at 2:00 pm with a bow. I'm hoping this bucks daddy dropped a horn or two for me haha

What a dud of a weekend!!! Found a small 4 point side pictured below. Fresh drop which was cool, but other than that couple hours hunting a lot of time was spent indoors with no power due to weather. We had high winds and rain/snow mix Sunday evening with similar conditions Monday in to today. There's too much snow in the woods and ag fields to really see any sheds from before these last 2 storms. BUT, I've got 5 days off starting Sunday and hopefully this snow will get outta here and uncover some antlers. Good luck to the rest of y'all! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361936909.940412.jpg

That is an awesome deer! Do you have quite a history with him?

I have not been out looking lately, and it probably wont happen any time soon. Winter should be gone by now but instead I am sitting in a blizzard.

That sucks, yes we do we got him on camera early on in September gotta set of three pictures of him. Then he totally disappeared for the rest of the season until feb when we were out checking cameras he was crossing the field on the cam. Pretty amazing how they can disappear. I will try to get the pictures of the rack on his head still.
