Hey I've got a question, I found a moose shed earlier in the season and i was wondering if they counted or if it was just deer?

    The Rules

    1. Any shed off any animal between the dates of October 1st, 2010 and May 1st, 2011 shall count for this contest. This includes Mule deer, Elk, Whitetail etc. (We've lenghtened the season to include those that may have found a shed already to increase competition amongst teams.)

    2. Dead heads do not count for the contest. Sure, they're cool. But by definition NOT sheds.

    3. You are not obligated to post pics of every shed you find. But please post some so no one suspects anyone of cheating. This contest is for fun.. let's keep it that way.

Enjoy the contest gents. Team 2 has the bullzeye on its back.. so let's see who can take it away from them.

    Good luck to all!

I found one last month while deer hunting... I'll try to post up pics when I can, but mark one down for me already then!

Thanks! :D I just about had a heart attack when I found it, the base was sticking out from under some leaves and I thought it was a giant white tail shed.

Will post pics later, but here's the totals. 7 Mule Deer, 2 Whitetails, and 3 Elk sheds. Great trip. the 23 coyotes were the main bag though! ;)

Put me down for shed #2

About 11 hours between sheds right now, if I don't get that number down somehow, I don't see the wife letting me find more than about 10 this year.....

    Will post some pics soon.......

I have 8 hours in now after today. Most bucks here are still carrying, I just needed to get outside even though I knew the odds were against me finding any. I did find another carcass, a doe.

    Congrats on another find.

You could get the hours between sheds down by waiting until the condions favor shed hunting... You know, gotta keep the lady happy :p
