I wouldnt count doe skulls or shed buck skulls. Only racked skulls. I am just as pumped to find a nice skull as I am a shed... But, the skull is a let down and the shed brings hope for next year!
I understand how you feel buckeye...however it is a 'shed' hunting contest...not like the deer dropped its head. LOL
I have two now Dan by the way! One of my bigger boys has dropped his left side the past day so I can not wait till this weekend to get back out to see if I can find it. Federal Jury Duty is putting a damper in my shed hunts during the week since I have to drive 70 miles to court house. LOL
I saw that! Congrats! I have 2 also, but probably won't be doing much shed hunting until later February.

On the board, first shed of the year. I know ya'll are pros, it is there, and sometimes the anticipation of pulling it out of the snow is more than the reality :D
