I have road kills but nothing in the woods, and with my sanctuary I expect to find some yet I guess that area might not hold them

Did some hiking today, didn't find any sheds but I saw more deer today then I ever have in one spot. There had to be 40 deer in this fresh clear cut it was cool to see them all take off. I walked through the area but came up empty

Three more. A match set and a fork. Not deer that I hunt though. Found them at my inlaws place.

    Also found a headless carcass...

Cool looking set Scott. I found 1 on the way home from my cabin. I didn't stop to much traffic but I would say at least a 50" 5 point.I'll pick it up next time I head up.

You guys are having a great year! I am going out here in a little bit, re-walking a place I walked back in January... Wasn't much sign there at the time but the snow was fairly deep. I was surprised the lack of sign there as the property had corn planted last fall.

Hoping to run into a shed or two there.

What are the details and better photos of that slammed set in your avatar?

    +9 more for me, (29)

if needed I can snap a picture of all of them, but the 4 I found after dropping the boy off, well, none of them were any bigger :D

Fun time though, went out and in the first 15 minutes we found all 5, good thing, because after about 20 minutes he was ready to come back home :D

Been saving the area just for this day, close to where I park and I was hoping to find maybe 1, hope he doesn't think it is this easy all the time.....

Two hours of driving each way, 9 hours hiking yields 13.8 miles on the GPS... I found this shed on my way out for the day 300 yards from my truck :violin:

Nice at least you got out. I was going to go Saturday with Mike but I had family stuff to take care of. Then today we had rain all day.

    Congrat's on the find.

For those of you keeping score at home......

there are 31 sheds (29 are ones I have found, I leave some scraps around here and there for other folks :D)

Ones w/o tags, I haven't gotten around to cataloging yet.

Awesome finds guys!!!! Keep it up
Managed to get out twice this week, shedded an area someone had strolled thru before and picked this one up. We still have over 2 feet of snow in the bush, I am hoping it melts SOON!!!!
[IMG]Total for me so far is 4 Dan.....to be continued
Hopefully within the next couple of weeks this white crap melts...not too sure if the dog is getting more of a workout than me
Keep up the good work guys!!
