    Here is my updated lists.

I found this one at a buddies farm, but I had to give it to him although I did snap a picture.

Here is a group picture of the ones off of my farm

This one is my target for next year. I have a photo of him still sporting his rack.

Nice finds and the picture of the buck too! I like that little palmated set. That is going to be one interesting deer. One that I would tag! I really like the Odd deer for some reason!

Thought that buck in the spotting scope was the same as the shed you found at first glance... but it appears to have more of a curvature to the main beam at the end, unless it's just the angle. Can't believe there's too many racks like that around though...

I'll post another pic tomorrow, but it is the same for sure the curve is there for sure. It is just the angle. He'll be a beast next year. I scored him, anyone wanna take a guess before I blurt it out?

I know he's not the biggest ever, but for my area he is huge. We have a huge problem with poachers. I'm one of 5 bowhunters I know of in the county. That many gun hunters on so little land is tough.

Well this shed season isn't going very well for me at all. I spent most of my free time in december and jan scouting deer on non-huntable land. I had these deer down pat two really nice bucks with very cool racks I could locate these deer within ten minutes. Both bucks all a sudden dissappered for two days and came back shed. I grid searched the ridges they bed on and their travel routes to only find nothing. And to top it off my buddy calls me yesterday hey is it possible to find deer antlers in the middle of a field. Of course I respond yes thats what I've been looking for before work. Oh well I found two right next to each other and I just was wonder if these were real.
sorry for the rant but man this is hard :(

What neat character that big one has... he sure would be identifiable come next year provided he kept that same odd twist at the end...

I would probably never get to hunt him anyway. It is a couple hundred acre property, but with next to no woods. The property is almost all field. I found the shed in a small island of trees in the middle of the field.

Still pumped for the find none the less though.

I went out for 5 hours yesterday found 1. The good news is I found a spot that was tore up. Big rubs, thick tag elders, not a deer trail every 10 feet. Scott congrat's on the find that's a pig.

Been remiss in updating my pictures.

Slow year this year, or the last few years have been the aberration? don't know.

But here are the last couple that I can think of (will need to sit down and look through the pile and make sure though, 'pile' is what my dad has found and thrown in)3

The final picture is what I hate finding the most, not only is it a dead deer, but it is a buck that for our area, is about as big as they get, G2's are in the 10-11" range, so go from there....only thing really interesting in the dead buck is if you look at the third picture, you can see a round spot on the main beam, and some scratch marks on the tines, they are all orientated in the same direction, and the round spot on the beam, the gouges are probably about 1/32-1/16" deep.

I am of the opinion that he was hit by a car (400 yds from a road, or 800 yds from a county highway) rolled and succumbed to his injuries, the side that the gouges are on is also the side that was in the water/ice for most of the winter, and that caused the discoloration. Anyways, dead is dead, guess it don't matter any more.

Well, got a bit more time for some other pictures maybe some will find interesting......

Couldn't get the 'pile' on one good back drop.....so first is the 'sets' the one with the smaller sheds are the mis-matches (for whatever reason this year, if the horn had size, we found a antler that an 90% certainty match was found......, hoping this doesn't mean that is all that is around this year)

The bigger horn in the mismatch set is a cheater one my old man found, found it under a bird feeder in his yard.......he always stacks his numbers with 'city' bucks :D

some size perspective on the 4 bigger matched racks

Bottom two I have video of from last summer, and I believe i have their sheds also :D

Nothing like having a history of the deer you hunt.
