Im gonna take a stab at scoring this bad boy, im gonna say without seeing the mass measurements it looks as if it will be 26"m.b. 6" g-1 12" g-2 and 11" g-3 and 9" g-4 mass im gonna guess 17" overall which would put it at 81" clean typical 5pt. Side i still think its a hammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im jealous just a little bit!!!!!!!
Oh yeah as for the other side my buddy has been chasin a huge illinois brute for four years now and he picked his set up again last week four years in a row its a booner. But my point is he dropped one side and was seen packin the other side for 2 weeks after he dropped the one side so he could still be holdin strong dont give up on the spot. I pound an area and give up then go back a month later and theres sheds there you never know. Best of luck and keep those eyes to the forest floor till you find the missing piece of the puzzle good luck!
Buckeye gives it a solid 72" ????????? Well what is it the anticipation is killin me measure that hog already?
Well guys were loadin up the truck at 6am to head down to the Illinois deer classic in bloomington i am pumped. I cant wait to see the huge IIlinois bruisers on display and check out the bowhunting.com booth its gonna be a blast hopefully i can take some really good pics. to share with all of you.
woodman what a stud! I like naming my bucks and if that was in my woods it would be an automatic name blade! congrats on a beast of a shed
Sorry for the delay jeez I had no Idea it was going to get this attention. The other side has longer G-2 and 3 but the 4 is smaller and hooked in. Here it is. G-1 7 G-2 10 1/8 G-3 9 4/8 G-4 7 3/8 34 H-1 6 1/8 H-2 5 2/8 H-3 5 7/8 H-4 5 2/8 22 4/8 34 MB 25 1/8 81 5/8 1 3/8 Abnormal point 83
I named him bla bla bla because I was a blubbering idiot after I saw him the first time. I called Dukemicheals after I saw him and I don't remeber much of the conversation just get back in there and get him. It's a great area for calling bucks, it't in a earn a buck zone where the doe population is low which creates a lot of competition and this guy is vary territorial.
Very decieving photo... His brow doesn't look but half as long as his g4 in the photo. His mass measurements were just a shot in the dark since they were buried in the snow, Richie and I both blew those :p I wouldn't have thought that shed was from a 180 class typical 10 point. Again, great shed.
If you look at the brow tine it has a curve to it which makes it longer than it looks. WHen I saw him I had him pegged at mid 170's.
Nearly 15 miles over the last 2 days, found 4, part that kills me is I found 3 of them all within 5 minutes of each other......all within 30 yards. So, that would be 16? for me? in the field
Congrats, wi... you're killing it! Put in another three hours of walking today... hit some incredibly good-looking spots, and nada again...
Wow i was on the money on that shed thats pretty close for not seeing it unearthed i guessed 81" he came in at 83" i was pretty darn close on that bad boy.
Illinois deer classic Well guys i gotta say there were some true hammers on the wall down there i took a few pics. For you guys to see. Could you imagine findin the sheds to these deer laying out there on your next trip into the woods. We can all dream of finding sheds of this caliber for some of us it has and others it may come true! Good sheddin boys>>>
Guys this in my opinion is one of the most impressive racks i have ever seen on a whitetail hes got it all. I BELIEVE HE SCORES 196" NET A TRUE ILLINOIS MONSTER
