Short69 checking in. I'll be hunting Lasalle county, Illinois. I havent had much time to scout yet, But I am planning on hanging a couple more stands this coming week. I got one nice buck on camera earlier this year. Havent set cameras back in timber yet. I'll keep u posted.

 

When we get a couple more guys checked in, we need to start coming up with a team name and pick a team captain.

 

Checking in. I will be hunting WIS for whitetail this year. I have about four different locations I can hunt around the state. I will be leaving for CO on an elk hunt in about 3 weeks. Had very bad luck last season hunting whitetail as had a bunch on camera that were shooters but never saw one between first and late season archery. Dad did take a 155" last season. Have 2-3 shooters this year.........hopefully better.

 

Looks like we have a pretty nice team here. I'm doing some name brain-storming now and anyone who wants to be captain is fine. Ive done it before, or if you want to do it David, since you started the thread and everything, you are more than welcome

 

I've actually been a captain the last three years so I prefer to pass this year. So I'll second the David nomination.

 

hi rick is checking from mass will be hunting CT.sept 14 until mass opens oct 20 food plots are in deer are on the cameras should be a good year.

 

Thanks for the nominations but I actually don't intend on taking up the position. So if anybody would like to be captain, just say so! If we dont come up with a captain, I'll be the last resort.

Hey all, Hank here checking in. I've been around here for a spell so if no one else wants cap I can handle it. I'm huntn SE Wi most of the time and a week up in Black River Falls Wi for a week in the end of Oct. I put up 2 cameras last week and have 1 more lane to clear and another camera to put up. I've seen a few good size bucks on the property, just haven't been presented with opportunity. We need to start coming up with a team name asap. list em here and we'll pick our favorite one. Fitz might be able to create an avatar for us. One more thing. I think we should start a list with user name/real name to have on our contact list. Be able to communicate easier with ea other.

Hank good idea. I updated the first post to include everyone's name and location. That way it is the first post we come to in the thread. Also I am fine with Hank being the captain since he is willing. So I'll vote Hank for captain.
