New Tacacam Revel should be arriving today, hope to get it out tomorrow to Thursday before I fly out to BC.
Had a fun trip to north central Nebraska this weekend. One of the best parts was getting to watch the antelope prerut activity. There were 2 different times we had bucks push their harems through fairways while we were no more than 100 yards away. Yesterday morning we had a young satellite buck walk right up to us sitting in our carts. His brain is swimming in hormones right now. Pretty fun to watch, got me excited for November!
My brothers in Neb right now hunting Mule Deer, seeing lots of goats and a few elk but deer are sparce. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Isn’t that the way it always goes. Now if he was hunting elk or antelope, he would be seeing all kinds of Muleys but nothing else, lol
Where is he hunting? We didn’t see any muleys this trip, typically we see a good number of them in the area. We rifle hunt a property that used to be whitetail only and we would see nothing but Muleys. Started being able to hunt mules a couple years ago and then they disappeared and whitetails moved in. Not complaining but is remarkable how it works. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
North and West areas of the state I believe, they have 2 days left come home Saturday. Hunting all public land. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anyone out hunting yet? I’m able to hunt but haven’t made time yet. Might try to sneak out Sunday morning unless my wife mandates church. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I am sitting in the airport. I have long day of travel ahead of me. Albany to Atlanta to Calgary…. I been sweating waiting of COVID results to come in so I could get into Canada. I only received and printed the results out about an hour before I left for the airport. I should have had them yesterday morning. If I didn’t get them that would have sent a wrench into my travel plans for sure… Anyway hopefully my season starts this Sunday
Got back yesterday from WV setting up for deer season down there. The main buck I was after last year has returned and is still alive, and he’s a toad (for that area). We hung 3 stands, started a bunch of mock scrapes and did some work on the cabin. Our cam check was exceptional not only for deer but bears and turkeys as well, was a great time. Great pics! Hope to have some pics this week, heading to our river bottom spot and do some final prep on three stands and put the haybale fabric on the redneck. We've got four cameras out there we'll check cards on. We'll see how the Big n Beasty plot is doing. Shot a buck last year on that plot in late December. Good luck to anyone able to hunt now! Man are you on the Midwest Whitetial pro staff? Sounds awesome brother. Here on the home farm in Ohio I’m checking cams and and setting up my Radix blinds tomorrow. We’re still 2 weeks away from the opener. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No pro here, just an old guy that loves to deer hunt and watch videos! Does look like I've been a little influenced by Midwest Whitetail though doesn't it! LOL Oct. 1 opener for us. Hopefully someone can get us on the board before then! Sent from my SM-G950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I love Midwest Whitetail as well and probably emulate them more than anyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Season opens up here this weekend! I’m planning to sit out with my boys Saturday night and see what happens…can’t wait to get back in a tree!
Season opens up this weekend here as well! I will probably let the woods sit for now- and hunt every weekend I can after the middle of October. I have the first part of November off, so excited to get after it! Trail cam pics are looking promising.
