I will get pictures and scored for the team sometime tomorrow, have to travel with my family for my uncles funeral and then get my grandmother down there as well. Have busy few days ahead of me. Work is dragging today and I am on a 24 hour shift. Pretty much putting hunting on hold till I get all this stuff squared away with my family.
Yeah, it ain’t much but honestly with all my family stuff that came up, I am thinking about not driving to KY next week. Figure might as well punch a tag when I could and deal with the family stuff with out worrying about hunting.
Cold front is coming through up here and this weekend should be awesome. We have cold weather and sky high pressure, so the hunting SHOULD be good this weekend. Crossing my fingers! Good luck to everyone that is getting out.
Same here in northern Illinois, looking good! Going to be out in the morning and evening tomorrow! Then again on the weekend. Hope to put some points on the board! Good luck everyone! Sent from my SM-G950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Well guys I have to confess I've been holding back on you. I usually don't post alot of trail cam pics, but I'm going to post this one. This is the buck my son and I are hunting! Haven't seen him on the hoof yet.Going to hunt this area hard real soon! This pic is 10 yards from one of our stands. Sent from my SM-G950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Been out quite few times but have only had one shooter buck in sight but he never got within 60-70 yards of me and diverted another direction. I am going to Wyoming on Friday for a late season elk gun hunt in Wyoming near Yellowstone so I’ll likely not be back out till Nov 10th or so. But our rut doesn’t kick in until around the 20th so I’ll ne back way before our prime time. Good luck to everyone.
Good luck with the elk! My cell cams were on FIRE last night and the temps are in the 30s for the first time this year right now. This mornings hunt should be wild. I’m going in super deep to an open woods spot that’s surrounded by doe bedding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
