Hello all! Name is Matt, hunt SE Nebraska. New empty nester so planning on spending more time in the stand than I have the last few years. Alright guys, my name is Caleb and I’m a YouTube addict who kills a few deer and makes mediocre hunting videos. In all seriousness, I’ve been a member here on this site since the first month, I think I’m #276 if I remember correctly. Used to visit everyday, made some real good connections in my earlier years. Then real life happened and I wasn’t on here as much but I try and make my appearances at the key points of the year. I think I’ve been in every contest and put up 172 and 196 points the last 2 years. I will be hunting probably everyday from October 15th to December 13th. I have a family farm with some other properties here in Ohio, a friend’s property in WV and public land in Indiana/Pa I may visit. I have my own webshow that’s not nearly as successful as Bowhunt or Die but it’s my passion outside of family and work. I’m getting married next month and I work as a Union fireman. You guys will probably get annoyed as hell at my constant video and picture posting but it’s the way I’ve always been. Tigers can’t change their stripes! Hello everyone ! Jimmy here, I am 46 from NY, I live just a bit south of Albany. I hunt mostly private land in NY. Most of my whitetail hunting though is in the Midwest, usually KS every year and Iowa every fourth year on private land… that said I unfortunately didn’t draw a KS tag this year for the first time in six years. Thanks COVID !! I have somewhat of busy hunting season planed. I am going to BC in a couple weeks to hunt MT goats. The end of OCT I will be hunting a bit in western KY and I will hunt NY all though oct and nov. the last week of Nov into dec I am going Mountain loin hunting…and depending on how things go at home with the wife I might sneak out to Az for a an OTC hunt with some friends. Going to try to juggle all that along with my son and daughter and all their stuff. Hopefully I can get my son out few days hunting with me at home in between his travel soccer. He just made the division one U12 team as 10 year old so that will keep him busy. In any event i am looking forward to participating on team, and keeping in touch with everyone.
Here's a few pics of the food plot my son and I planted in mid August. Horseshoe around some soybeans, about an acre. Deer have the beans eaten down to about a foot and a half tall (the rest of the field is 3 feet tall)! Going to get some cameras out this week. Matt here, hunting central Illinois. I hunt a mixture of private and public. This will be my 4th year I think doing the contest. Glad to see some familiar names on the team. This year I’m looking to put some real points on the board. Currently recovering from Corona. Glad to get that out of the way before season starts.
