I make jerky, fajitas, crock pot recipes, sausage sticks. Basically everything you can make venison with I've made goose out of and have had non hunters tell me they'd eat it again so yup definitely taste pretty good! I prefer them over duck.

Have a buddy that makes goose and NM green chili sausage sticks, he gets a lot of favors done bribing people with them, me included.

    Nice!!
That’s something that I want to try one year. A friend of mine went last year. He’s the first person that I know to have done it.

It started as a motivation/reward to lose weight, now it's an addiction. The year I turned 50, I dropped 50+ lbs while getting in shape. I met some guys (some on here others not) and have gone with them in CO since (1 yr not hunting as my older daughter got married and $ was a bit tighter that year).

I've seen Elk all but 1 year, cms had some good encounters, but have yet to get an elk myself. In the prior 4 years, two from our groups have gotten elk. Others having taken mule deer and one his once in a life time Colorado Shiras Moose.

Every year has different sights, exciting encounters and awesome memories.

This year I have a draw tag for an adjacent unit to where my friends will be hunting. So, I'll be solo for a few days, maybe a week, which will be interesting and a bit of a new learning experience...

This is funny too, but I'll leave it alone and just ask what phone or computer are you using to view the forums?
