Once again, though I started the thread and can help watch check ins for a few days, I will be literally off the grid (elk hunt starting 9/11 pm). °Captain needed. °Team name needed (Dwayne had a suggestion above). I'll offer "These Unprescidented Tines" as another option. °Anybody hand with graphics, if we want a team avatar.
Hey guys checking in. Just got home from the black hills so will introduce myself tomorrow! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Hey all sorry for being late to the thread...I honestly forgot about it till just a bit ago. My name is Shawn Freeman.... I’m from Hanover Pa which is 7miles across the Md/Pa line.... I’m born and raised in Maryland but we moved up here 16yrs ago but I still continue to hunt/work in Maryland.... and as already mentioned our season opens the 11th of Sept and runs through till the end of January.... I’m Married and come Sept 8th will be celebrating my 19yr Anniversary and been with her for 21yrs this Oct.... we have a 16yr Old Daughter and 14yr Old Son and both will be older come this December....My Son has been my Hunting Partner since he was 6... and seriously the time getting things prepared, set up and ready to go over the seasons has been more fulfilling to me personally then even the Deer itself.....wouldn’t trade that for anything. We hunt on a 40acre lease right across the line and it’s in abundance with Deer some Monsters are on trail cam but I don’t know if anyone read a post I placed on the board a few weeks ago... but the land owner told me months ago that it wouldn’t happen till after the season but Select Harvest Timber is currently on the property as we speak finishing up ... I drove by the other day and things are about wrapped up and good thing is when I stopped to look there were 2 Doe there so maybe a great sign of things to come. So I don’t really hunt to much early season anyhow because of the heat but even more so since all this is going on with the Timber Harvest... we shall see... Also, my Son being my hunting partner and it’s always my desire to let him get his first.... either Doe or Buck so much of my season doesn’t really get into gear till October or mid October anyhow... Glad to be here and hope to contribute to the team in anyway I can.. talk soon all, Shawn
I’m artistically disinclined. I like Antler Assassins. I really like Bill’s “These Unprecedented Tines” because If I shoot a buck it’ll be unprecedented. I do not want to be captain. I have a pregnant wife and a one year old. I’m good to remember to walk forwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Bobby and I forgot to mention as well that I too only Bowhunt the entire season... another great reason why I only Hunt in Md As far as team name I’m good with whatever the group decides.... I’m easy like Sunday Morning... but with all that’s going on and the times we are currently in with so much confusion chaos etc....I really like “These Unprecedented Tines” Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Very Nice and what a journey 5 yrs and still going. Hopefully the chapter ends this season for you ... and us too points/scoring wise Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Everyone thinks they’re a winner. They don’t know Team Two is the poo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Alright I'll start with I like "These Unprescidented Tines" for a name and that I do NOT want to be the captain! My name is Travis and I am from Southwest Minnesota. I do ag research for the U of M, farm and we have a black angus cow/calf herd. I am 30 with a wife, 3 year old son and 6mo old daughter. To say my hunting has decreased every year from being busy is an understatement but I still try to get out as much as possible. I live, work, farm and hunt all within about a 5 mile radius so that certainly helps. Downfall of here in MN is I can only shoot one deer so I typically hold off shooting a doe until late season and then our deer herd disappears for their winter grounds. I will certainly try my best to at least get us 50 points but if nothing else, I am usually quite active on the team thread. I haven't checked cameras for about 3 weeks now but have about 3 good bucks up until that point. Good luck everyone!
Hey Team 2. Jimmy Gonzales signed up way back and I believe his sign-up post was his only post. He hasn't been heard from since, so I've replaced him with Okiebob. I've sent Okiebob a message letting him know he's been assigned.
Alright... if no one else wants to be captain I will assume the responsibility lol Adam Elite Kure 29.5/70lb CBE Engage Hybrid 3pin Dead Center Dead Level Hunter Kit 8/6in Goldtip Kinetic Kaos 340 Spine 29in TAC driver 275 100gr NAP Killzone 455gr/276fps
