Anyone getting out soon? This weekend is my wife’s birthday so I won’t be in the woods, next time out will be the PA opener on 10/3 hitting some public land right around home!

Are you hunting mobile or doing preset stands? I’m trying to get more mobile this year

I got a summit viper sd climber. I love hunting from a climber more than pre-hunt stands, very nice for mobile hunting especially public. Ended up seeing a couple does and a small buck. Going to get back in alittle further tommarow and see if i can find a bigger buck

Looks like The Booger Brigade has a nice buck down and being scored. Some seriously nice mass.

20.5 more highway hrs, then a bit of meat processing, so not sure when I'll be getting out for (little) deer

    Update:

I’ve been getting out when I can. Maybe this weekend i’ll get some time. I had a bear walk up to 12yrds of the tree I was in Wednesday, but no deer.

I started a new job yesterday that’s going to be keeping me busier than I expected o be this season. But it’s twice the pay so, i’m better busy than bored.

Hopefully i’ll have a deer down this weekend.

    Impressive.

We got my elk into the freezer at my friend's (and sister's) house... These are all CO animals they've shot...except for the muley in the kitchen (his cousin shot) and the center mule deer (a lion kill salvage)... 20200921_182158.jpeg 20200921_182209.jpeg 20200921_182232.jpeg 20200921_182300.jpeg
