I hope he does for ya, I have a buck “figured out” at my farm in Pa. Got him almost every am and pm and in his bed a lot. Won’t score much as a 8 but I’d like to kill him. He might be 130, this is his 4th year on the farm. I’ll throw some pics up of the last 3 yrs, still have to wait till 10/1 to hunt, a lot change change until then. Always get some big boys showing up through the year.
I’m still using that thing. It’s a little ragged and I have to use safety pins to close it because the zipper broke, but I’m still using it.
Frosty here checking in better late than never I guess. I struggle keeping up with site sometimes since the apps gone but come season I'll try to check in more frequently
20’ as a 6pt 21’ he was a 8 and I had a bunch of encounters with him he’s a 8 again this year just has more mass.
I can go to random.org and generate a captain for us haha. That's how we choose the draft order for my fantasy football league
I’ll be captain if no one else wants to. I just scouted a new property I just gained access to and got 5 cams hung, has a oak ridge around it with about 60 acres of nasty thick stuff below leading out to a swamp and creek. The prop is 120 acres and butts up to a school with a large wood lot, some big bucks are seen around the school often so I’m lookin forward to see what shows up on the cams. Guy used to hunt it and hasn’t been hunted for 15 yrs
Thank you sir, I was gonna do some contacting today when I had a chance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m perfect okay with you being captain. And your new spot seems…perfect. I picked up a new farm this year as well and have been there a few times to scout it out. So far the only shooter on camera is a gnarly 13 point double droptine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice! Saw that buck b4 when you posted it in a thread, he’s real cool. I really enjoy learning new properties, this one is gonna be tricky to hunt. The access blows and the neighbor won’t let me access from his side, was worth a shot to ask tho. I typically have a bunch of cams out in Ohio too, but didn’t get around to it this year. Going in blind which will be a nice change. I have a good idea how they move around, it’s right off the river and super hill country with no direct food sources. The deer just seem to browse all over and travel the shelf’s in the hills. Makes for a gnarly recovery, here’s a pic of one I killed years ago and packed out.
Second on the captain for me. I like your content on YouTube man! I’ll definitely follow along this season with ya.
That deer was a tank, I didn’t weigh em, but was around 200 dressed I’d guess. We took the rear 1/4’s off em to pack out. I didn’t want to full pack out bc I wanted to get good pics at this overlook. My buddy wanted to kill me, but I’m big on getting good photos of a kill . That’s what lives on along with the story. We laugh about it now, but it took us 4hrs to get him out.
