I had a good hunt tonight. I had 4 doe sneak in on me, it was 20 mph winds so I couldn't hear anything. Anyways that chance came and left as quick as it came. I did see 2 other doe and had about a 85-90 inch buck come to around 50yards. I wasn't interested in him, but it was a good hunt. good luck if you get out!

Sorry everyone I been on a hiatus, we just lost a significant person in our family and we’re going through all that now. When things level out I’ll be back out hunting. I went out two nights recently and had good sightings but wasn’t in the shooting mood, more of a clear the mind sits.
Other than my opener I haven't been back out. My wife went out of town this weekend so I was at home with my little man. I'll be MIA due to some family things over the next two weekends. I'll be hitting it really hard come the end of October and November. Planning on taking some vacation days and really trying to get after it 2-4 days at a time when that time comes.

We need some rain in my neck of the woods. I still have 7 food plots to plant hopefully I can get the in the ground in the next few weeks. 5 days until I’m in a tree and the first doe that comes in range is getting it.

Season starts tomorrow for me. Shooting the first doe that comes in range. Hopefully put some points on the board.

Shot fired tonight. Hopefully doe is down. Hard quartering shot. Saw the hind leg kick back after that shot. Crossing fingers.
