Definitely a love hate with cams, that’s a great buck and you have a ton of time to get after em. Good luck! I’ll be out in the am for one of these bucks that have been skirting me on this ridge.

My mind is having a hard time focusing this week at work and it's only Monday. I'm ready to be at camp with a fire Friday night getting hyped up for the sit Saturday morning. Regardless if I kill anything this week, its opening weekend and will be glad to be back in the woods.

Last day of vacation, I’ll be back in Ohio and in the stand tomorrow evening, filming my brother who’s home from the Navy on leave for a wedding.

    I cannot wait.

I feel it’s been awfully quiet in here.

I went out for the first time last night with my brother, we ended up seeing his target buck but he was too far for a shot. One of my other brothers had a great field side sit and saw pretty much everything but a shooter. And my buddy Ryan was able to take a buck at his place. Very eventful first evening back.

Sounds like ya had a great trip, I been hunting a early open section in Pa. Had multiple shooter bucks skirt me, today is Statewide Pa opener. I’m up in the tree now, rains supposed to move out around 5. Looking for a couple bucks or a big doe. 7 doe and a spike in field now.

Not hunting related, but I'm sure you guys saw it. @Junior I see you like fishing for walleye, what's everyone's thoughts on those scum bags that were cheating in those tournaments?! I'm surprised they didn't get an ass whoopin'. Fishing is serious down here and I guarantee they would have gotten decked here in Tx.

It’s pathetic, I fish bass tourneys on a very low level and it gets heated. Walleye fishing in Erie is a huge deal too. I’m surprised they didn’t get their asses beat, I still think it’s gonna happen down the road. Them dudes are POS and deserve whatever they get.

The thing that bothers me the most is they were bragging at all the tournaments and saying stuff like “winners just win” truly sad and they must have no self esteem to cheat on that level and boast about it.

idk if it's true or not, but the fish they caught would have won it without the cheating correct??

So there was a video of an interview done with one of the judges at that tourney....i agree with him that a person gets pretty good at judging size & weight when you have seen/handled/dealt with them over time. I believe he made a statement that they would have had good standing but not have "won" without the weight. This guy admitted to being off a pound or two either way when looking at a fish but even i can call a walleye short when i see it. The length these guys went to is disgraceful & disgusting & gives true sportsmen/women a bad name. I hope they are banned for life & have to publicly apologize. Smh...

(Lake Erie fishing is alot of fun by the way!)

    I havnt been back out.

I live an hour from the lake and this walleye thing is all anyone is talking about. The one guy has poaching charges in PA in the past, and there’s been a lot of chatter about them cheating the last few years. They failed a lie detector for a tournament last year.

    Sad really. Really, really sad.
