That is on my trail cam in central Kansas. There’s a herd south of us but looks like they maybe migrating north

 

That’s pretty darn cool

 

They are calling for damn near 90 degrees on Sunday now, that’s pretty gross lol not sure if I’ll feel like going out with that or not. Gotta make sure I can find a walk in cooler I can get a deer into first. Someday I’ll have my own i hope.

I'll be holding off until late next week to get out there. I've got a church convention to be at for the first few days of the season. Given the high temperature prediction I'm not at all upset about not being up a tree just yet!

I was in the right spot last night had 4 doe and a small buck come by within 30 yds just no shooters. Statewide opens up this Saturday in Pa and Ohio. So I guess I wasn’t in the right spot bc a shooter didn’t come in hahaha.

 

nicely done, congrats! not sure if ill get out for the PA opener this weekend, i usually dont do a lot of early season sits unless hi temps for the day are below 70 lol

I booked my flight a couple days ago. I arrive in Wichita at 1108 AM on November 4 and should be in a stand by 330 in the afternoon, and fly home the 16th. So I will have 11 full days of rut hunting.

Anyone getting out this week or weekend? I’m taking my nephew out on Saturday evening. I’ll be in Ohio hunting Sunday-Tuesday

Put a nice doe on the ground this evening. Got her gutted and brought her to a processor who preps deer for our local ministerial association food bank.
