    Shot the crossbow and vertical bow today. No pics of the groupings! I'll be taking the crossbow in the woods with me this season. It wouldn't be right for me to start shooting the compound 2 weeks before the season and think I'm ready.

    Yep! Its a 175 lb recurve crossbow. I won't shoot a deer over 20 yards away with it. Ham shots with it are lethal.....LOL

    I hung two stands with my newbie buddie yesterday on the new little lease and pulled cards after mowing fire breaks on the private ground I have permission to hunt on today. Looks like y’all got the important stuff figured out which is cool. Hopefully I’ll have a couple pics to share I’m getting food at bdubs now. Waitress is a booner for sure
