What part of SW Pa you from ?

 

I almost went to KS this year, had to push it till next year.

 

This will be my 13th year out of 14, went to Ohio one year

 

That’s great, I never been there have buddies that go all the time it just never lined up.

 

Checking in! I will be hunting public and private in Illinois and possibly some public in Missouri. I love deer meat so if something happens where I don’t kill a couple deer I’ll be pretty decimated. Hopefully that never happens lol

I’m gonna try and get a couple doe early this year. I’m getting low on meat, we run through it.

 

I am not hunting until November, I rarely hunt in Maine. I have a 2 week trip in Kansas. Going to go probably the 3-17th.

 

Good dates, I hear Maine is tough. Do you have land in KS ? Get a lease or public ?

 

Same deal here. I have a buddy who just got into deer hunting we are gona go hard together try to get his first deer and fill my freezer too. It’s about empty

I have spots I leave until late October early November too. Most years recently I have really waited but that was when I only had one place to hunt and didn’t hunt public. I’m gonna try to spread myself out this year and do a lot more hunting

I’m heading to Iowa this year again but not till 2nd gun season got offered to party hunt with the landowners tag. Not to much of a gun hunter but I’m pumped to go, I don’t have to burn a pref point either which is nice.

 

I have passed too many doe early in the past and then I’m out in single digits trying to get one or two haha.

 

I have access to 360 acres that just me and 2 of my friends hunt. One of them bought 206 acres and he just bought another 160 acres that abuts the first 206 a few months ago.

 

Well that’s amazing !

 

I hunted public and some private the first 11 years. This is our 3rd year on the purchased land. My friend bought a house 3 miles from the land as well as a Polaris ranger that we can drive from the house to the land. And he just bought a massive 70hp John Deere to do food plots. He has sa lot of money invested.
