I’d vote yes on the group chat. Last year’s team conversations on GroupMe were pretty fun.

I’m good with any team name.

Curious what everyone has for a setup this year?

I’m running a Bowtech RealmSS. Few years old, but has served me well. 70lb, 31” draw. Victory Vap arrows with g5 Deadmeat broad head.

Mathews V3 31 at 28” with 75 pound limbs tuned down to 68-69 because I’m a pussy. Every couple of years I will have DCA arrows build me a dozen arrows, this is my last year on this set. They are Easton axis 300 that are at about 475, 280 fps I think at about 70 pounds and 14%FOC. I’m interested in some broadheads if anyone has suggestions. I have rage mechanicals and also grim reaper fixed blades. I can’t say either shoot great in my set up compared to field points. The last deer I show with a bow was with the rage mechanicals and I was less than impressed with the performance.

Im a glad to be here, I am retired from a varied work life Ive been everything from a artist, waitress to City bus driver, to a Archery Pro Shop Manager ( the Archery Pro Shop ) has lead to making many long time friends on here. I used to compete in a lot of 3D archery but working at the shop just didnt afford me the time needed to continue so I gave it up. I am a 60 yr old wife and mother of 2 boys. My largest archery buck scored in the 190"s and I usually get a buck or 2 every year till last year. I had my chance at numerous bucks last year but was holding out for 2 certain bucks one was killed by a friend and the other I am after again this season ( I had 5 run ins with that buck last year) . I bowhunt only public land and I have taken my second largest buck from there along with many others. I currently shoot the Bowtech Destroyer 350 and The Bowtech Eva Shockey, But I am having some issues with both my shoulders and one of my hips so I may try dabbling with a crossbow for the 1st time this year :bigcry: I will find out today if the crossbow is needed or not. Ill post a few of my deer pics here. deb big buck.jpg Deb 2019 IDNR Buck.jpg deb 2 buck 2022 3.jpg deb allerton buck cemetary.jpg deb barb wire buck.jpg deb oct 27 2022 buck 1.jpg Deb buck 2 Dec 4 2017 1.jpg deb 2013 ear tag buck.jpg

Glad to see we’ve got some killers on our team! Shoot 2 Kill has a pretty good ring to it I like that one myself.

CBW and I used group me for our team last year, I’ll get that set up today for us all to join there.

We’ll stay active on here so I can keep sh*T talking Fix whenever an opportunity presents itself

I like shoot 2 kill also.
I’ve never done an outside group chat. This is my fourth year here, but i’m down for it.

This year I’m using my Elite Ritual 33 from a saddle. I got a TX5 right before he partnered up with Latitude Outdoors.
Bow is mac 65 lb but my arrows at 300 spine with a 150 up front were a tad weak so tuned it down to about 61 lb. I’d rather lose a few fps but have perfect arrow flight.
Also I’ve been playing with wooden shafts from my recurve (45 lb @ 28”) but I draw 29. I’m planning to try and take one with that this year from the ground. Although that might be after I get 2 for the team.

    Lol.
Another name option? “Edit: Take 2”

How many y’all use a saddle? I mostly hunt out of preset hanging stand, ladder stands or a blind on our property. I keep an XOP with Hawk sticks handy if I want to go mobile.

Well I just had a very painful attempt at shooting my bow. After shooting one arrow I spent 2 minutes doubled over holding my shoulder in pain. Its my shoulder that holds the bow, last year it was my draw back shoulder but now its the other one. This is crushing for me because I live for bow season & now my body is getting old & broke . So it looks like that new crossbow my husband got but never hunted with is gonna be my new hunting partner this year.

Never used a saddle. I have a buddy trying to get me to switch over but I can’t commit. I usually hunt pre hung hang on sets but I also have an XOP and sticks handy if I need to go mobile. Going to set up a couple strategic ground blinds this year mostly for gun season though
