gotcha he probably had some organs clot up the holes so the blood just all of a sudden stopped it stinks heard of it happening to other guys before just gotta move on and see if you cant find another buck good luck!

Too quiet on here, how'd everybody do this weekend I saw 6 bucks on the opener and 1 last night no shots and 1 possible shooter he looked over 200 pounds and had long beams couldn't get a good look behind the brush found a scrape 20 yards to the left of my stand and a few nice rubs right in front of it awesome opener for me!

Yeah that's the plan for this weekend. Our muzzleloader season comes in next Monday for 2weeks......so Saturday might be good.
no i had a nice doe at 10 yards walking in but i had so much stuff in my hands i couldnt get an arrow nocked, wouldnt ya know the only time i have to carry everything without my brother i get a broadside doe! they were in that corner though i could hear them but they just didnt come out with the off and on rain

Hey y'all... been busy with work, but I did get out Sunday eve... no bucks, 6 does total, but none in range. I'll be out again at least one day this weekend, but could possibly sneak away for an evening hunt today. I'll keep ya posted
Awesome looks like were gonna be getting some deer down soon I will keep my fingers crossed for all you guys I'm heading to the adirondacks this weekend for some big woods whitetails on the ground with my bow very slim chances but may do some bear huntin with my rifle as well should be a fun weekend though. Yesterday coming out of the woods I was walkin on te edge of a large puddle and I lost my footing and went cometley under water that was not very fun m mow my blind and myself were completely soaked lol..
Well I was doing a little pre-hunt shooting when my D loop broke at half draw causing me to punch myself in the face. Not the best feeling lol. But alteast it happened then and not while drawing on a deer. I have a new loop put on so some tuning and shooting in the morning so i can get out tomorrow evening.Good luck everyone!
They were just out of range of me however they managed to make it on film. There were 3 other hunters besides me hunting there tonight. We met up before our evening hunt to talk about where everyone was going and such. 2 of those guys film hunts for DVDs. These tresspassors rode I think he said 12 yards from them. They filmed it. Once they made it out into the field the 4th guy was able to yell at them since they stopped and could hear him. But they were "lost".
