Haha I go through much of October without seein too many deer but your lucky to be in a Stan already I have 3 more weeks ugh man I've been dreaming bout opening day for months!
Been busy here, new property to set up here in ky, so not much to add yet although the season has started. Probably won't get rolling until mid-October. First of November, off to Kansas for one week in big buck heaven. Best of luck to all you kids.

Ya know, I had no clue what to do for an avatar until I went through some pictures I took from the stand a couple years ago. I found a pic and just ran with it.
2 more days guys and maybe some doe meat for the freezer. Looks like my wifes making me go to northern missouri this weekend but im taking my bow in case i get loose. Gotta get a break from the inlaws somehow. LOL

just save the picture to your computer then go to your profile and under i think its settings go to avatar and choose the picture
That Fran is a funny guy...he is right though. We found one of our targets this past weekend dead on the edge of the field. At first I thought maybe he was poached but upon further investigation I noticed that he had both back legs broken which would lean to an auto accident. What a terrible waste to a great animal. We had a couple years worth of photos and had hoped to put an arrow into his chest. Fran posted some of this years pics on there team site couple days ago. He would have scored out right around 140" as a true 8 point.
