Kelly checking in. Haven't participated in a few so should be fun. Season opens next weekend but just bought a farm and haven't even set a stand yet, so opening morning will be scouting and stand locations. Glad to be aboard.
Well while I'm waiting on my cnc mill to run through its cycle here at work I'll tell you all a little about myself. My name is Joe, I enjoy long walks in the woods and a candle lit tracking job. My favorite colors are scarlet, gray and camo. I work live and hunt here in stark county Ohio but may occasionally travel to bracken county KY to hunt on a lease some other family members have. Here in Ohio I am down to 1 property to hundred.t on this year. The positive is its 500 acres, the negative is there are about 8 other hunters and its approximately 70% fields. However there tends to be decent quality bucks here and there on this property. The Buck in my avatar is last years contest entry for me. Due to some broken points he only scored 108 5/8 (if I remember correctly ) but I was happy taking that old fighter. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you. I already know Josh is a good dude though.
Hey Joe my name is Mark and Im fairly new to this site. I have a couple of buddies that are regulars...quiksilver and rybo. Quiksilver and myself have been buddies since the first day of school and probably see more of each other than our wives...haha. I live in sw pa but spend most of my free time in se ohio. Look forward to contributing to the team this year. The buck in my avitar is last years oh buck killed on 10/3. He scored 153" as an 8 point. An absoulute stud of a buck. We had a shed from the 2008 season and thought he was a ghost. He had to have been at least a 5 1/2 yr old but I would put him in the 6 1/2 yr range myself.

Hey everyone my name is Dieter i hunt New York's suffolk county as well as opening day adirondack's last year was my first year bowhunting passed on a ton of deer, got a giant palmated shooter on cam now gonna make it happen this year cant wait to get started Oct 1.
I like that optimism, Dieter!! Joe, is that youngster you brought out to shoot with Scott and I a couple years ago flinging arrows yet? =) Mark, you keep good company. I've shot with Ryan on a couple occasions (definitely a class act) and heard nothing but positives about Fran over the years. Glad you're on our team. Kelly, that's a hoss in your pic... shoot another one like that and we're sittin' pretty! I'm, Josh... 36 y/o cop from Columbus. I hunt in Licking, Muskingum and Delaware counties. I've passed on a few decent bucks the last 2 seasons, holding out for something bigger! At least 130's and up. Killed plenty of does, but figure if the buck isn't big enough for the wall, it walks. I hunt mostly private land, but work second shift and I'm a single dad of 2 little girls. So my stand time is obviously limited. I'm always good for the doe points.. and hoping my buck drought ends this season!!
Welcome aboard Dieter! Yup! I got him a Razors Edge for his birthday last year. He got to shoot quite a bit last year but not so much this year due to baseball and football. I see a very promising archer in him in the future.
