It's shaping up to be a sweet opening morning here in PA. It's been in the 80's for the last week and it should drop to the 50's for Sat. Got a spot that has had a bunch of big bucks sneaking thru a pinch and the N wind is perfect. Can't wait to get in the tree.

How's that for a Vermont buck!? New target buck for sure. Three times I have him in the last 8 days, this is the best shot I got of him. Don't come across them this big that often around here.

everytime I get him he is moving practically in slow motion. A mature buck like this doesn't survive in these parts with luck, it's all smarts. He comes back through a bit later moving just as slow, this is 15 yards from one of my stands and twice by another stand at 20 yards. It'll be tough but worth every second.

Pulled a card on a property 2 hrs away today and this guy showed up. Thoughts on what he might score? I'm not great at it but I'm thinking I should be hunting him:)[IMG]

Looks like a pretty nice 8, I would say low to mid 130s. Im not the best at guessing either. Shoot him and let us know. Good luck!

    The time is near!
This guy walked within 20 yds of a stand yesterday morning. Unfortunately calling for a SE wind tomorrow so I won't be able to go after him. Will be on a different oak ridge that has been good to me in the past.
Good luck to all who can get out, hoping i need to break in my neighbors new walk in cooler.[IMG]

I have been trying to figure out if a spike a doe in Oklahomas eyes would count as a doe for the contest. I need to cull some bucks and not into killing nice 2 year olds

that's a nice deer. He is only a 8 with short g3's. I'm going to guess him around 125 inches. I would shoot him though!

Yesterday ended up being vs bust. Quiet first morning, nothing moving. Good thing the season goes a while. NY starts today, might try getting out tonight for a little while. Hoping the acorns are the place to be.

Got busted on the way in this morning. It was dead calm, pretty sure that ruined the rest of my sit. Thought being in 45 minutes before shooting time I would be fine. Guess not...might try again this afternoon

Well had a good sit this morning. There was a hog under my stand when I walked in and had a coyote come by before daylight. I did see a doe and a couple of fawns but those are not on the list for me. Looking for cull bucks right now or Mr big of course.

Got us started with a doe on the board. Gotta love the terrible selfies w/ the deer. Not a big deer but it will make for a couple nice smoked hams.[IMG][IMG]
