I second page, if your game, you have my support. How about dueces wild? So let's get a little more lively here. That's why we do this contest after all lol. Where are you guys all from? Hunting public or private? Compound or trad? Mechanical or fixed? I'm from eastern oklahoma. Grew up in the far southeastern part of the state, now live east central. I work on a WMA, which also happens to be my primary hunting area. I hunt almost entirely public land. I'm not a trophy hunter, although I do try to shoot mature bucks. My largest bow buck was 122 and change and 6.5 yo. I think I've managed a doe for the scorecard every year I've been in the contest, and have gotten lucky with a buck the last 2 years. My bow hunting is usually just the month of October and maybe a week or 2 mid November. I also blackpowder hunt (with traditional muzzleloader only) and rifle hunt Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I agree we need more lingo lol. Contest is all about fun and meeting new people. I hunt 90 acres of private ground, own 40 and lease the adjacent 50. Shootvfor a 140 minimum but am not likely to pass a 4 yr old! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Buck o shot Last year. 131 and some change. Pretty sure he was 5 Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I'm from NW PA and hunt both PA and NY. Also planning a trip MO for the rut. I hunt mostly private land I don't own. Last year was my first experience in this contest (which I loved) and I contributed a doe and a small buck. Look forward to making some new friends this year. my vote would go to buckeye as well if you're down! and deadly dozen would get my vote too. I hunt a few farms in VT/NH, some 40acres some 100acres, and hoping to get to ME as well for some hunting. Work in the school system so planning ahead is key in getting all the time in the woods as I can. Should be out fall for a few weeks next year to IL and SD but staying in the northeast this year. Big into turkey hunting and taking the smoke pole out as well. Hoping to put a nice buck down this year.
I'm Chris from Ohio. Pretty much hunt all private ground totaling around 3800 acres. We do have a lot of public ground around but there usually is a high population of hunters from Oct. to Dec.. Hunt manly with compound bow but will bust out the shotgun/muzzleloader when needed. Our season opens September 30th. Hoping to tag out early because I'll be spending the first week of November in Oklahoma muzzleloader hunting. I'm good with being captain. Any other ideas for team name? We've got Deadly Dozen Deuces Wild Bone Brigade Antler Addicts Rutcationers Throw some more out there if you can think of any
Hi everyone! This is Sean checking in from Illinois. Looking forward to a great year.... the team I was on last year was the deadly dozen. lol...... those are all good names though. It really doesn't matter to me what we choose. Just here to have some fun and make some friends. Sent from my SM-S120VL using Tapatalk
Good day Fellas. My name is Rodney. Originally from LaCrosse WI . Moved to Eastern Texas 7 years ago. it was a learning curve for hunting like no other. This was my buck from 2015. My property. Saw some good looking boys real early in velvet this year. Camera has been out for 2 weeks will swap cards sunday and see whats what.
What's going on fellas. Excited about this fall. September 2 start date here in KY and I'll be looking to get the 50 point doe quickly Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I hunt in KY like I mentioned before. I am primarily a public land hunter with access to some private ground. I shoot a bowtech allegiance with trophy ridge react sights and Easton axis arrows. I shoot mechanical muzzy broad heads as well. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
OK fellas, we have everyone checked in. We have a couple votes for Bone Brigade and Deadly Dozen is already taken. Any other team names? Once we choose I will post to the team captain and name thread.
I like Bone Brigade but I bet there are more points from harvesting does than inches of bone. I want to throw Harvest Hounds in the mix for a name. Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
