Wish I was in a tree. Rain and wind all day yesterday, cool, overcast and pretty calm this morning. Bet scrapes are heating up.

Couldn't take this weather. Left work an hour early, heading to the shower then a tree. Rain just stopped, hoping the wind dies this evening.

Best pic if it. The contest pics are rough but should do. Selfies, after dark, because your quartering and packing instead of dragging 800+ yards...

Scored him up and he hits 124 on the nose. Makes him my largest scoring bow kill

Scorecard has been updated. We aren't all that far out.
Going to put all my eggs in one basket this weekend and only plan to hunt Sunday morning. Calling for 26 and calm. Going to head into a new set that I'm very excited about. Week from today and I'm off for 20 days! Getting fired up.

Pretty excited that 2 weeks of vacation starts today. One week of hunting in NY and a week in MO. Looking forward to a bunch of quiet time in the tree. Good luck guys, the best is yet to come!

Just had a spike push a doe out of the corn and into the woods above me. Would have been a 35 yd shot and I am hanging on w/ this wind. Blowing hard today.

this weekend I was covered with three seperate 1.5 year olds and had four does 10 minutes before legal shooting light work through on two seperate mornings. The does walked 5 yards from the tree I was in both times but too dark and not legal yet so couldn't let one fly. Found a great scrape line 70 yards passed one of my stands that perked my interest a lot. No chasing yet that I have seen but scrapes and rubs are here!

Got out for 3 hunts over the weekend. Seen good sign and passed up a 115-120" 3 yr old 9pt yesterday morning. I leave for my Oklahoma muzzleloader hunt this evening. Will be hunting Tuesday evening through Saturday. When I get back to Ohio the rut should be in full swing. Can't wait!
