Nothing wrong with that! And 200#... man... I've killed a few 180 # bucks, on the hoof. But never 200... heck, my 3.5 yo buck from last year tipped the scales at a whopping 111 field dressed. Tiny compared to yours Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Saw a doe and a little forkhorn tonight. 45 yards, too far. Back out in the am. Sent from my XT1080 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Had a Doe Dead to rights this morning at 7am then my wife started the truck to go to work and she bolted. so looks like my season is gonna be a blast.
I messed up on a doe also. She went behind me 50 yrds and I lost her so I thought she had kept going. I reached around to my pack for an apple, and proceeded to take a big bite at the moment she cane in to 20 yards. She will live to tell about the biggest squirrel ever in a tree.:-) Sent from my XT1080 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
At least you guys are seeing something. I've been out 8 times and skunked on 5 of em. I've seen a lone doe at 70, a young buck at 20, and 4 does that rushed right in on me then winded me, respectively, on the 3 sits I've seen deer. Just plain to dang many acorns this year. It's absolutely incredible Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Setting on an acorn ridge and been lucky and seen deer almost every set. Been a good start to a season Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I've been out 8 times, saw deer 4 of them. The difference for me this year is that the hunts came together when I saw the deer. Usually I'm doing the chess match thing trying to get close enough to get a shot. I didn't have camera Intel for either deer I killed but past experience of deer heading to the green fields in the heat made the difference for me. I read that they head to Green when it's hot b/c they get moisture w/ their meal. And both fields have produced in the past. Sent from my XT1080 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
On the hunt this morning it is kind of muggy but a front is on its way so who knows. Can't get one from the couch lol Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

I have been thinking with the harvest moon being so early this year we might have an early rut. Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
The bigger bucks are finally starting yo show up! 3 different cams all in the last week and a half. Finally starting to pick corn north of me Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Thanks man. It took me a while to get on one so it sure felt good when it happened. I had an afternoon engagement so I was going to get down at 930. At 925 she walked in with a couple others and I wacked her at 10 yards. Shot was a bit high though so I ended up spining her. Hate that, but at least it was a short track job I guess. I'll get her uploaded to the scorecard tomorrow Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Out this morning in the wind and rain hopefully it will let up and one of them will come out to play lol Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I'm out swaying on the wind! Pretty disappointed that the only deer I have seen so far is a dead 1 1/2yr old buck that is half eaten. Will investigate when I get down. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
