well today I help out "THAT GUY" you know the guy that is soooo redneck. after move a 2 man ladder stand 6 times (yes 6 times in 1 day ). I never been so MAD and laugh sooo hard. 1st he drop it and fall in the creek, then he got the jeep stuck in mud, and then question the stand location. i'm so glad he not on the team!
Just so yall know, between now and start of bow season, I probably won't be around too much. I'm good with jake being captain and the team name/avatar is nice. I'll drop in from time to time to keep up to date with things, but between work, and the wife and dove/squirrel/rabbit hunting I probably won't be posting much. Once bow season rolls around I'll be more active in posting while I'm hunting. So if I don't talk to yall before yall hit the woods, be safe, and remember this contest is for fun. Shoot what makes you happy and enjoy it. Good luck everyone.
Im still shooting for hunting my Bowtech Destroyer 350, I just love this bow For 3d Im shooting the new Bowtech Eva Shockey bow. But she might make it on a few bow hunts this year ... havnt decided yet.
How do you like that Eva Shockey bow? My wife has been looking at different bows a little bit and was wondering about them.
So far Im very pleased with it, but Ive only been shooting it for a month or so, but.. very sparingly since I have a bad case of tendonitice in my bow arm elbow... so Im taking it easy on the elbow.
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around. Like the name and avatar, well done A bit about me. I'm Jason, 32 and married with a kid on the way due Oct. 31 (I know...pour planning) live and hunt on 40 acres in Peoria Co. IL. Been deer hunting since I was 12 and have shot a couple nice bucks but nothing huge. Try to stay with a 140" minimum but got a little over excited last year and shot a 125" 8 that was chasing does. Hope to have quite a bit of time off in the first half of Nov. but with a little one on the way I'm not sure if I will get to spend as much time in the stand. Spend most of last week installing a couple of culverts in the timber where my logging road got washed out. Was able to open up a new little kill hole and put in some oats and a brassica mix, now if I can just check some rain it will be good to go. Also have about 1.5 acres of clover and a small bean plot that are both looking great. No big bucks on cam yet but they usually don't get to my place until the middle of Oct.
