And nuthin! Unbelieveable! What a perfect set up & nuthin! Deer urine everywhere? Prints every where! I'd swear they sit in the tree line & watch me come in.

well Sat afternoon will be my last and final hunt for the season. Hoping to contribute to the team. I'm going to try to get out around noon and sit in a blind watching a very well traveled path along a tree line. My snow camo blind blends in real nice with the snow on the ground so hopefully they won't see it too easily. I see a few of us here on the sight have been successful the past few days. The weather looks great, in the 20s, snow on the ground, calm winds.
good luck to eveyone else still hunting.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! May 2016 be a blessing to all of you and find you and your families in great health.

I am headed out this afternoon for what will probably be the last hunt of the season for me, unless I get a wild hair to go on my 2 days off. Figured I'd give it the good ole college try one last time....Thinking any deer that walks by might be in trouble. Need some more meat for the freezer....

Well that is the end of the season for me. Didn't see anything while on stand, but seen 2 does as I was walking to the field, got down and crawled out to the field into some tall weeds, ranged the closest doe, 50yds, out of my comfort range with last light and a cross wind, so I stood up, moseyed on out to the field and gave a little wave as they bolted and blowed....nice little end to the season....

Sorry team, that's it for me also for the season. I didn't get out today. Yesterday was my best shot at it and I picked the wrong spot. Sorry I wasn't able to contribute to the points but last year was a crappy year overall and didn't get to hunt until the last month.
Thanks to everyone else on the team for the efforts and successes. Congrats to all of you that shot some really nice deer.

Maybe we'll meet up at the gtg in June or later here on a team for the deer hunting contest. Look forward to seeing you at this year's gtg if you do go.

It has been a privilege to be on the team with all of you.

Good luck to anyone still hunting.

Don't know about him, have to ask Fergus, my buddy Aaron should be with me again this time though. Think he plans on getting a bow before then also, so he will be shooting this time hopefully too. Also will be bringing my cornhole boards and bags for some camp time activities. Also should have plenty of fish and a proper fish fryer this time for a good fish fry Friday night.

well pa is now closed and it's time for some shopping!

my son will be putting a huge down payment on a new elite i31 or i34.

he is 15 and saved his paper route money & the money he got for selling his hoyt charger ($700 total)

but i'm very proud of him for doing what he has done. it's all on this own.

I personally just call it bags, but figured most people know it as cornhole...
