Well between crappy weather over the last few weeks every time I've had days off, working crazy amount of hours last week, then getting sick right before my 2 days off, and the weather continuing to be crappy, I didn't make it out any the last 2 weeks of November....shotgun season opens this weekend, taking a buddy out to try and get him his first deer, I'll tote the shotgun also but really not looking to shoot anything unless a monster shows up or a dumb doe....he has first choice though, he isn't gonna be too picky I don't think....I may try and get some late season sits in if the weather is reasonable...

That's a sad reality in a lot of places. Its pretty unbelievable how unsafe a lot of people can be during gun season.

Hey guys! how is everyone doing? I see one good sized monster would put us in the running. Anyone out there still hunting? Hopefully I can get out in the next few weeks. Still trying to deal with my dad's affairs. My sister will be going home this Wed so I'll have to be devoting some time to my dad's house but I'm hoping to make some time to get out there. Season is coming to a close in early January.

How is every one doing? any monsters sighted? I'll have to move my blind a little more into the woods to catch something with horns. Weird to not been hunting much this fall. Have to practice a little bit from seated position.

Good luck to everyone still out there. COME ON TEAM! ONE MORE GOOD SIZE BUCK.

I'm still here. I've been hunting for a doe the last few sits. Close but no cigar. On another front, my brothers and I are buying a 50 acre farm that is close to another 50 acres my dad owns. I'm pretty excited to be a landowner here soon. It comes with a tractor and bush hog, so that's a plus. I'm definitely going to be busy soon with some new projects, but I'm pretty pumped about it.

Im here ive had tag soup with my bow all year. I am sorry guys i was unable to atleast get us 50 points with a doe. Gun season opened and had to turn to the black powder and rifle to fill my freezer with few does. My deer hunting for the rest of the year is spent around trying to get my wife a deer. I do have some more vaction around christmas that I may squeeze in a few bow hunts around my waterfowl hunting. My hitlist buck was killed on the public ground that boarders our farm with a muzzleloader. I got to see him on the hoof one time in late october. I knew the guy who killed him so i went to check him out. Really nice deer he grossed 139 and netted 137 only 2 inches of deductions. Thats a real nice deer for my area. we have quite a few 3 year olds running around, but no shooter left on our farm. again sorry for not getting on the score card with my bow. this makes only the 2nd year in the last 10 years that I have not taken atleast a doe with my bow.

I'm still hitting the woods. Not sure I'll make it out this weekend. We have our granddaughter until Sunday evening and rain is in the forecast. Still plugging along, hopefully I'll get a doe at least.

I'm still around, just haven't been hunting. Between my son and I we have 5 deer in the freezer. Firearms came in two weeks ago and I haven't even taken the gun out. I may hunt some while I'm in Bama over the holidays though.

I did whack a doe during gun season. I drove out into the farm field about 1pm and popped a doe at 1:15. Called my boys to come out the field to drag it out and put it in the truck. Back at the house by 2. Deer sausage by the next day. So now the pressure is off, meat in the freezer.
Now it'll be time for hunting for some bone.
