I'm pretty sure I'll make my return to the gtg next year Hank. I live and hunt in Iowa. Been hunting since I was a kid. Took about a 10yr break in my teens when we first moved to iowa. Started back when I was 17 and moved to Missouri. Been going strong since then. Picked up bow hunting about 5 yes ago. Have taken 7 deer with a bow, 3 of which came from hunting public land from the ground. I now have a small 40 acre lease that has had some great deer show up in the past, just haven't connected on one yet....my hunting seasons kick off sept 1st with dove and squirrel, then bow season opens oct1st

Hey team Lady Forge Checking in. Im a married mother of 2 grown men. Ive been bowhunting for about 15 years and I bowhunt public land. Ive been very blessed and have taken some really nice deer here. A few of my bucks Now the public land I bowhunt has changed the rules this season so I can only take one buck and take a total of 4 deer. If I want to hunt another buck I can move to hunting the piece of public land next to the one Im currently hunting and take additional doe's there as well. So it looks like we have a great team here and I cant wait for our opening day of archery season here in Illinois.
So it looks like just about everybody has checked in. I think we are only missing one person. I will message him and make sure he knows what team he is on. I guess we need to go ahead and decide on a team name and captain. If anybody wants to volunteer for captain that's great, if not then I guess we can vote on it.
I'm not gonna be much help here. Any name is fine by me and I really think we could find a better captain than myself.
I don't care to be captain as long as nobody else wants it. If anybody does, just speak up and its yours. And as far as "deuces wild", I like it too.
Been real busy trying to finish some projects up at work to make sure my fall season is clear for hunting. Will post a little bio later, be safe and have fun. V/r Dave
Still waiting on one person to check in but I guess since there hasn't been an objection, its safe to say that JakeD is our captain? Went today and re-posted the farm I hunt after the property owner found a guy in the process of hanging a stand there a couple weeks ago. Hopefully I wont have to deal with much of that this year, that farm has always been good to me.
