Well I am off tomm. and plan on hitting the woods. Big change in the weather, almost a full 20 degree lower for overnight temps. 46 degrees vs. 67 it was this morning at 0600, I am hopeful this will get the bucks doing some seeking/minor chasing. Be safe if your hunting folks and goodluck.

Saw 8 this morning, including a small buck chasing. A doe with two fawns bedded down about 40 yds from for over an hour and a half. Back at it this afternoon.

I'm in the stand and ready to kill. My wife is in another stand and said she is watching one of our target bucks right now. Could be a good night.

Saw 6 this afternoon. Thought I was going to get a shot but smart old doe took different trail and lead the others. Definitely need to kill her.

Not bad guys. We're in 6th place. A couple of nice bucks and we'd be in the running. I go to my doc next week to see where I'm at with my foot. I'm hoping I can get rid of the crutches and start phys therapy. I'm hoping to at least maybe get in the woods in Dec? Man this really really sucks. I might get a handicap hunting permit to hunt from the truck in one of the fields come gun season.
Come on team. Hope you all whack some this week. Good luck to everyone.

I saw a real big doe yesterday standing out in a field at 9 am, just hanging out. Man I'm going nuts.

KG I hope you and your son connect soon.

I'm sitting on the ground across a big field from my wife. I don't have a good wind for my stand but she is good for here. I'm just hoping to watch her kill something tonight.

Made it out this morning, had a small 6 point under me for about 10 mins....................3 doe passed by out of range, he watched them slowly walk by and showed no interest in them at all, I found that interesting. Heading back out in about 30 mins.

We ended up having a great evening yesterday. Saw a 5.5 year old buck, a couple 3.5 year-olds, 4 spikes, and about 15 does. We are set up closer to where the mature buck was so hopefully he comes back out tonight.

we left the truck at 2:30 pm after eating lunch and got in to the stands about 2:50 pm for him. I put out some evercalm on an overhead branch

and vs 1 in the scrape when he got settle in wish him go luck and went to my stand about 40 yds around a corner so about 3:45 pm my son came to get me with super big smile on his face and said he shot a doe. really!!! then he show me his arrow covered in blood. I said boy you don't waste any time do you? he said NO I barely was ready myself I just put on the arrow and looked to my right after hearing a crack. she was coming in quick but all so at her past. she stop about 10 yds to right of stand and I let her have it. she ran about 15 - 20 to the only pine tree.

we do have the recovery and my son coming to get me from my stand on his cell phone. not sure how to send it my email. if we figurer this out I'll post the videos here.

Up in the stand for the last afternoon of vacation. Saw one this morning. He walked in just as planned but he was only 1 1/2 yo.
