I got the baby phone call while a doe and 6 pointer were working their way to me at 4pm. She's still in labor, so no hunting today.
I made it out this morning. The buck I'm chasing "Bone-afide" was there an hour before I was. The good news is he's still alive and is pretty active and I have daylight pics of him in front of my stand around 4-5PM...game on this evening. I've been letting that stand rest for quite a while. Partially because there were some guys hunting south of there on the next property the last time I hunted that stand and I saw Bone-afide when I left. I was afraid I'd push him into the hunters to the south. I didn't see anyone hunting there this morning so maybe they tagged out. Two of my regulars there are MIA lately. One was injured, Gnurley, back around the 3rd or 4th and was looking sickly but was looking a bit better by the 17th when I gt the last pic of him. Hopefully he's okay as he's one of my favorite young deer on all the farms.
Congrats Kristen! Where is your orange hat? With the crazies in Pa in rifle you should be in head to toe orange LOL.
Thanks! I took it off when gutting. I had a head band, my UA turtle neck/mask, my hunting mask hat, and then the orange one. Got a little hot! Luckily I have private land to hunt.

Well looks like we jumped all the way up to 2nd place now, and are only 15 points away from 1st. I might try to do a little late season hunting for a doe this weekend since the weather is actually supposed to be nice. I think if we can get one or two more deer to fall, either buck or doe, we'll be in pretty good shape. Good luck to all still out hunting!
We got a 80+ incher that needs time added...but heck yeah you guys and us made a huge jump! Congrats on an awesome year fellas...let's race to end this thing and see where it falls!
Awesome...I haven't been in the score thread since the baby came. The MIL is supposed to be here next week to help with stuff, so I might try to sneak out a time or two.
Fitz has been busy, he just updated it today. I see quite a few deer for other teams with missing info or pics. But for now I'll be happy with 2nd place haha. Hey Ty, good luck to you guys too! Been a fun contest so far in my opinion.
Heck yeah! Don't count me out yet folks, I'm still not getting any serious stand time and it's raining this morning. Things just aren't falling into place for me to get out but there's lots of time left yet. One decent buck would give us a little room, a buck and a doe would really be great. Either way, I'm proud to have been a part of this team this year, you guys have all been awesome to share a team with.
I'd never thought I could be on such an active team. Also many teams (you guys included) are on pace to break the scoring records...this year that isn't going to win it though as I feel a few teams are gonna accomplish that.
