That's all that he has back there! It'd be a great spot....I'm just not too keen trying one.

Ha, no...they aren't something a beginner should probably try to use without help the first time or two. They aren't that bad though either.

He was only the 3rd buck I've seen all season and I still have not seen a doe this season. Wish I could see one of them big rack bugger you all have been seeing. I guess that's why I'm more of a meat hunter.

Dang...you got it done this year! Good job, thanks and congratulations.
I had a terrible day all the way around, I'm about ready to take a hot bath with an electric blanket. Got myself in a mess trying to fix a hydraulic leak on a combine. Wish I'd left the sob alone now in hindsight. One of those things once you take it apart its a holy terror to put back together. Uhg...No hunting for me today and fighting a repair all day, not sure what I did but Karma is a b*tch.

    Congrats!

I had one doe when I first got into the woods then not a single thing after. No birds. No squirrels. Nothing. Didn't even see anything coming home. Back and at it tomorrow.

Other than almost hitting a doe right down the road from my house my night was about the same. It was so windy nothing was moving.

It's too early. I had to drag myself out of bed.

    Good luck all.

Good morning everyone! Well I decided to bring my buck home yesterday and start processing it today. Since I have my 2nd buck all I can shoot is a doe. And since I have not even seen one yet this season I decided to surprise the wife and spend a weekend at home. I can try and fill my doe permit next week during the gun season.

25 degrees, I am froze already lol. After two back surgeries I'm a big sissy about the cold. If I start to shiver my back will start to spasm and it's all over. I passed a yearling doe and a barely legal buck already though so they seem to be moving.

how long does everyone let their deer hang before cutting it up? i usually cut mine up within a day or 2. But we we're thinking about letting it age a bit before we cut it this time

Nothing moved for me. Saw the same four point I saw a handful of times before. Heard a couple before day break.

I'm beyond frustrated, won't be going out tonight due to a banquet at 6. I have Friday night and Saturday. Trying to be optimistic.
