52* and windy. Saw 3 does but nobody trailing them...

 

The wind has been present a lot this season. We usually have the same weather as you, Josh - nice today, too (minus wind). Going to drop down the rest of the week/weekend though. Planning on possibly skipping out a few afternoons this week.

 

I had some turkeys come by, but no deer. Sadly, my cameras didn't catch the 11 pointer from Sunday. Getting some lunch and then heading to another property for the evening.

 

Good luck! Does OH have a fall turkey season? Ours is open this week - could always try for a fresh turkey dinner!

How long does everyones season run? I normally never hunt the late season.

 

Feb. 2ish here. No clue about turkey season...never cared to shoot one.

 

I'm telling you, let the air out of one of those does. You will get your confidence back after that miss plus put meat in the freezer... .

I'm back in Indiana now... going to try to get my wife on a buck, and my best friend is coming from nc to hunt starting Friday...so I'm going to be trying to get him one too...I'm off work for the next week

Jeeze, I don't know what I have to do to get a shooter in front of me. I was out tonight and had a really nice 7 point 2.5 year old walking around me and trying to bust me for thirty minutes. I could have shot him several times but lucky for him he was not in the shooter category. I'm liable to start poaching myself if this keeps up...jeeze.

I am starting to feel the end of season pressure since I can only get out on Saturday's right now when I can't make it over to Ohio to hunt Sunday's. Pa ends the 15th so I have this Saturday and next Saturday and that's it.

 

I'm still trying to get through harvest and wheat planting. It makes it hard to focus on deer hunting even when it's too wet to be in the field.

 

Well my husband shot a big boy this morning. Wish I could say the same for me.
