Thanks for the great participation! We'll do what we can, I have a doe already entered and will take a nice buck if I can at all. I'm going after my best hit listers first but if that doesn't work out, I'll take what I can get to help out with the points.

I hunted IL last year - beautiful out there. I said if I wasn't attached to my family, I'd move there.

I am going out tomorrow (if I didn't make dinner arrangements with my Grandparents...it'd be tonight, lol). This weekend is near 60. It's my kind of weather, but not so much the deer. Hope to see something.

Same here on all counts. We have a few shooters on camera in Ohio, I going over tomorrow afternoon-Sunday afternoon so maybe I'll connect with one of them.

Am I the only one that is surprised crxwolski's buck is 139" based on the pics he posted? I am not accusing him of anything but I would never have guessed that buck was a 139" deer.

Mike, I just went and looked - no I don't see how it's possible. But I cannot read the scorecard to see what is written.

I've seen both ways, some seem too damn big in pics for the low score posted and (so far just that one) seem to have gained extra inches. I don't think it's off by that much though and 8-10" overall isn't really going to effect very much.

I was accused of upping the score on mine last year too and it was 100% legit so I'm not going to say I 100% I think any of them are wrong. Mine had such big bases and lower mass measurements and junk on the back that it made what looked like a 138" deer into a 148" deer. Again, ~10" in difference vs appearance over actual gross.

I'm not insinuating anything either....I'm just saying the pictures are terrible because you can't see anything to tell either way....I mean how hard is it to take a decent picture:mad:

I would never accuse someone of lying it's just a contest for fun and bragging rights. I just never would have guessed anywhere near 139.

I went and looked at his lost buck thread and they are better. I still would never have said it's anyway where close to 139 but I suck at scoring so I put no credit to my opinion LOL.

Truck is packed, I am heading to Ohio straight from work tomorrow. Going to try to do a sneak out around 2:30 (hour early) so I can get in an evening hunt :).

    Good luck guys!
I went out this evening and only saw a doe. The spot I was at the other night when I passed that 8 point has a brand new huge scrape in it. I started to pull my camera card only to realize the camera was not on...I hate those coverts...oye. I would have had pics of the bucks there making that scrape....
