Update on my weekend since I don't have good reception where I hunt. Saw nothing but a fisher Sat morning. Decided to sit on the ground between a couple food plots we have and had a doe and 2 fawn all within 10 yards of me the last half hour of the day Sat evening...too many eyes around for me to get a shot off but pretty cool to have 3 deer that close and they had no idea I was there. Then nothing Sun morning or evening just a ton of mosquito bites!
P&Y, sounds like my kind of sit. But sometimes just being that close is just as much fun! Best of luck the next time out. A little over two weeks for me!
At least saw a few deer P&Y. Get yourself a Thermacell for those Mosquitoes, those things really work. This Saturday I am going out for the early Pa antlerless season. Hopefully I can add a few points for our team.
Sitting in the stand right now. This morning I saw a spike a fawn and one of the big doe's. The doe came in around 730 and got spooked by something out in the field before I could even draw my bow on her. Hoping this evening goes just as good if not better:-)
I still need to pick up a Thermacell and a range finder before season starts. I'm working on selling some reptile supplies (did you guys know I had 30+ snakes until 3 months ago?) and hitting up Cabela's next weekend. We're getting close!
Josh, I did not know that...but it's probably better. Snakes give me the creeps. One thing I cannot do!
I'm with you! Snakes are the only animal on this planet I'm afraid of... I don't do snakes.....things freak me out
