Screw Bill. Wait until you see 2 of the bucks we have at the cabin down here. I plan on spending most of my free time here in WI now.

I do have pics of one small buck that shed the night of Dec 7th. I'm writing a blog on it today.

I haven't hunted in almost two weeks. The first two weeks in December are normally very slow here. Planning on getting back out a handful of times before the end of the month.

Good luck dudes...to those still hunting.

HA! This is not true. Anyways, he's tagged out here in WI and this is my family land. He's coming up there to film me tomorrow.

Well, down to 10 days left in the season. I was close on getting a doe in range both Saturday and Sunday evenings, but couldn't close the deal. I think I can get in 3-4 more sits before the season is over. Still hoping for at least one doe, but two would be better.

Scouted an area "up north" over the weekend. Found a lot of beds in a stand of pines, with most of them heading to a big oak flat. Its about 10 minutes from my parents' house, where I will be for 2 1/2 days this weekend. Hoping to sneak out for an evening or morning sit. <fingers crossed>

I have the rack in the garage sitting on some sheds.. now.

If we were closer to winning I'd have done it by now.. but we're way out of it.

My guess is right around 115ish... give or take 3 inches..

I did take a doe a few days ago too.. but.. again.. no biggie since we're way out of it.

I really love the pic Duke! My 9 year old went with me this year and boy that was the best day in the woods this year. That is even over my first ever Pope & Young too. Would not trade my day in the woods with my kids!
