So I was helping with a prescribed burn Saturday and stumbled across a set from last year. 120 on the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Does the winning team keep their team next year? Id Love to meet up with you guys one Saturday and do a shed hunt together, then we can all pitch in a buy boonerville a steak dinner for carrying us
I think so. Edit* Yes, it appears so. It looks like Team 6 this year was last years winner but I do not see a team 6 thread this year so I don't know what happened. Maybe there weren't enough of them still around willing to participate this year or something.
I don't mean to shock you but Leo and I did something Sunday that I have not posted yet. Ill break your hearts unless you guys continue to look!
You just have too many acres!!! My father-in-law called yesterday to tell us that he had seen a buck still carrying both sides!! WTH??? Don't they know it is April?
What about a meth lab? I have found a couple of those shed hunting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That may be a long while off, like never. I live too far away to work with my sis' dog and they don't work with him enough to train him properly. He'll probably outgrow my visits. He sits, lays down, fetches a ball and a soft antler but I'm not sure I'll get to work with him enough to get him to actually "hunt" for the real sheds. My sis and bil ge too sidetracked with playing with him to train work with him.
oh man the pressure is mounting! lol. I guess if your team doesn't have boonerville or dbl lung on it you will never win. imagine if those two guys got on the same team?
Dang they are in the lead! I may just have to go back to SD! Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
If dbl lung can find 39 in one day with a dog I should be able to find 5 to put us back in the lead Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For the record ive never heard of anyone finding 39 sheds in one day....ever Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In all seriousness i did just get permission to turkey hunt 3 farms i haven't shed hunted. One is in Missouri, where you can only hunt till 1:00 pm, so my afternoons will likely be spent looking for sheds/mushrooms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, I guess I'll have to get back out and pound ground some more as well. Luckily this contest overlaps mushroom season and I have a lot of ground I will only cover in hopes of finding mushrooms but I usually find a few sheds while I'm there.
