I had a nice 8pt. walk by at 10am. He was panting pretty hard and cruising. Just needed another year. Pretty confident he was on camera last night. 016578004318819-100-3-11032025044742-SYFW00485.jpg

Just shot a doe! Waiting on my twin 9 year old grandsons to track her. They call themselves the Jerky Squad. that's their payment for tracking ! Let you know when they find her.

    Good morning!

Steady stream of does and a few small bucks. I shot two does on Sunday and currently have another bedded 50 yds away. Keep hoping something big will come along with these does but nothing yet.

    Good luck and keep grinding.

Good morning! I'm up in the stand this morning. Very still here in NWMo! You could hear a mouse fart! No where I would rather be than in a stand on November 7th. Good luck everyone!

I let a pretty decent one walk last night. I was watching a big one a couple hundred yards away and tried to call him in. I had two other bucks come to the call and just about shot one, but decided to let him go. Gonna go set up for that big one this evening. Good luck everybody.

Killed a doe and 2 minutes later a nice 8 with heavy bases came by. Shot him at 7:50. Followed blood 45 minutes later and he’s gone a long ways. I’m thinking I got liver and 1 lung. Giving him some more time. Tons of blood.

Oh no! I hope you recover him. It's raining here too. Unfortunately, I have not seen anything.

Opinions needed! The spot of blood was right at impact. Looks like liver to me. I do see some bubbles on the big leaf. Had great blood where he entered the woods and found some frothy blood at times so I know I at least got 1 lung. I believe I entered liver exited lung. Arrow doesn’t stink. Never found stomach matter but he never bedded down. I followed blood a ways and then stopped for an hour and looked a little more. I don’t feel like I bumped him at all. I have a dog lined up for the morning. Gonna be a long night.

If it was liver and one lung I’d say he’s dead. If it was me, I’d be looking for him this evening. Not saying you’re wrong, that’s just what I would do.

I want to badly. But the dog tracker wants to wait till morning. If I go in tonight it would be to grid search and there’s a lot of tall crp I’d have to walk through. If I don’t find him I could be ruining the area for the dog. It’s plenty cold and will get colder tonight so should be good. Just hate to make the wrong move and bump him if he’s not dead yet.

Arrow looks pretty good, if it's going to be cold and you're not worried about coyotes I'd probably wait till morning. Especially if you have a dog lined up. Good luck either way, hopefully a dead deer!
