well its not looking good for us to win this year boys, team 6 really came on strong.We had a good run though. Good luck to anyone still out their, I have a couple sits left before my expanded archery season ends in a week and a half, but its pretty much over for me.
I still have two tags left for bow season that I can kill one more buck and one more doe. The only problem is that I have 4 deer in the freezer and starting to find it hard to get out of bed for hunting when it is cold and freezer full. LOL I still want to get them filled but tough to do with those two things in my head! LOL
dawg... don't make me sneak down there and unplug your freezer to get you back out hunting to refill it !!! :D dmen... You did great in Kansas. Just enjoy the last few hunts you have before your season closes. If a doe comes by and you get a shot... great !! We have a very good team even being short a guy. I am still hoping late season will be good to us and you guys kill a few more deer. I like our team and would really like to see us together next year. Not so much to be called the champs but more to get another chance of being a part of this team. There is a bunch of good... down to earth guys on here. Tim

Ok guys who still can get us more points? I will be out after a buck with the bow after our rifle season is over, so there is a chance I can get us a few more points. So who else can score for us and do you think you will? I agree with Tim it would be nice to keep this team for next year, with the addition of maybe one more teammate..haha!!
Haha. My season is pretty much done. Work got too busy and it was too cold for me to put a good effort in for a doe. I might have a chance in a restricted 2 week season in dec for does. Not too promising though.
Shotgun is going on the next 4 days and then I will get back out next Thursday and Friday. After that I will be out the Thursday to Sunday on the next week after that-PENDING WEATHER! LOL!!!!! I do plan on getting back out. I really want to get a Pope & Young with my bow since I am still looking for one but it gets tough with the bow after 2nd shotgun weekend. Best of luck to anyone still hunting and I do hope to fill last two tags!

There is still time PT! You never know when the 300+ inch deer will walk by! I really wish it would happen but you never know for anyone!
I was going to hunt today, but my 4 yo girl wants to spend the day with me, and to be honest, i would rather stay home with her than bring her to daycare so i can hunt.
I know where you're coming from dmen. I got off work early today and instead of going to the woods to hunt, the fam. and went to get our x-mas tree. There is always more time to hunt. Good news around here is it's going to snow tonight and I hope to see some fresh tracks tomorrow. That way I will find out if there are any deer left where I've been hunting. I found out that during gun season the other people that have permisson to hunt there push it EVERYDAY. Crazy. If not I will head deep into the marshes on public land.
